The RU.TV KIDS Open Day was held at the National Centre RUSSIA on 18 October 2026. The event, combining family activities, education and career guidance, brought together children, teenagers, young adults and parents. Guests were introduced to the "Digital Talent Card" project, which will help young participants find their way into creative careers, and the family film "House in Uproar" ("Dom Khodunom"). The programme also featured meetings with performers and producers, practical workshops, filming sessions for video introductions and a major concert. Supporting young talent was one of the day's central themes, from discovering the worlds of music, cinema and television to taking the first professional steps.

The presentation of the "Digital Talent Card" was the centrepiece of the event. The project helps children discover their abilities and access opportunities for creative development, regardless of where they live. To participate, they need to register on the platform, complete a personal profile and upload creative work from their phone in one or more categories, including blogging, dance and visual arts. The editorial team assesses submissions and offers recommendations. The best entries may feature in weekly round-ups and receive further promotion, although this is not guaranteed for everyone. Participants earn points for accepted submissions and for making the shortlist, which they can use to customise a virtual character's appearance. Parents can follow their children's progress through a family account.

"The 'Digital Talent Card' is a major and important social project. Our country offers many opportunities, but further encouragement is needed so that children, wherever they live and whatever their parents do, can showcase their talents through contests, auditions and creative challenges. That will be a great help. I am convinced that this initiative will be very successful and that many children in our country will be able to benefit from it. This project is here for the long term. Very talented, energetic people are working on it, and I wish them success," said the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of Russia and Presidential Press Secretary, Dmitry Peskov, during the welcome session.

He also noted that presenting the project at the National Centre RUSSIA, which has already become famous both nationally and worldwide, lends it additional weight and brings it good fortune.

"Dear parents and children, welcome to the National Centre RUSSIA! Children and adults have gathered here today for a day filled with creativity, conversation and memorable experiences. Caring for veterans of the special military operation and their families is the main task of the Defenders of the Fatherland State Foundation. Together with our partners, we create opportunities for family recreation and leisure, carry out educational, cultural and social projects, hold contests, and organise trips and tourism activities. Last year, together with Russian Media Group, we organised an event for the children of participants in the special military operation to mark International Children's Day. I thank our colleagues for their care and attention to our heroes' families," said State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Anna Tsivileva in her welcome message. It was read out by Yuri Kiselyov, founder of RU.TV KIDS and the Rocket Group ecosystem and a member of Russian Media Group's Board of Directors.

As one of the project's founders, he also explained the initiative's purpose and prospects: "Dear friends! Young people today have enormous opportunities to make their mark. But a chance to be noticed is not enough: it is important to understand where to go next and how to turn talent into a profession. That is precisely why we are creating the 'Digital Talent Card' from RU.TV KIDS. It is a single profile bringing together each participant's achievements, skills, creative work and progress. The Card will help identify a young person's strengths and determine the next step: training, mentoring, taking part in filming and projects, or professional collaboration. Our task is to give talented young people a clear, safe and fair path towards realising their potential, so that their talent is not overlooked but receives support and has a future."

The project's creator, Executive Producer of RU.TV KIDS and General Producer of the Rocket Kids music label, Mila Solovyova, also presented the concept behind the "Digital Talent Card" and the opportunities it offers: "The 'Digital Talent Card' is intended to become a real pathway to social mobility for talented children and young people from Russia's regions. Every child has abilities, but far from every child has the opportunity to make themselves known at the right time and receive professional support. The project will help children get noticed regardless of where they live or their social circumstances, recognise their strengths and plan their further development, from training and mentoring to taking part in filming and professional projects."

Another important part of the programme was the announcement of a music video by Vladimir Kiselyov and Philipp Kirkorov. The participation of well-known performers added to the children's introduction to the music industry: guests could talk to artists whose experience offered insights into the profession beyond the stage.

"Dear children, every one of you is unique. Each of you has a talent worthy of the big stage and true recognition. What matters most is not being afraid to dream, believing in yourself and taking the first step. The 'Digital Talent Card' is your chance to tell the world about yourself, show your abilities and gain new opportunities to develop. Do not wait for the perfect moment. Create it yourself. Register. Take part, surprise us and remember: stars are not born; they are made by those who are unafraid to pursue their dreams. I believe in you. Go for it! Let your stars shine," said People's Artist of Russia Philipp Kirkorov.

Children were able to take the first step towards creating their profiles at the National Centre RUSSIA, where video introduction filming sessions were organised for visitors. During practical workshops, participants explored presenting on camera, blogging, music, acting and video content creation. This format allowed them both to learn about creative professions and gain their first experience under the guidance of mentors.

The film programme focused on the family film "House in Uproar". It was presented by its General Producer and one of its lead performers, Yelena Sever, alongside actresses Nadezhda Peskova and Ulyana Pilipenko. The story centres on a children's home where a major construction company plans to build an amusement park. The home's director and the children join forces to defend their home. Humour and adventure are woven together with themes of mutual support, responsibility and care for children.

The film presentation formed part of a discussion about supporting children within their families, in their creative pursuits and through difficult circumstances. This theme also ran through a separate strand of the Open Day programme marking Father's Day. Yelena Sever introduced the family film to guests and performed a song from it.

"This film is more than a comedy. It is a profound story about family, friendship, helping one another and how we can achieve anything together. And, of course, it is about how everyone must have a place where they are loved and welcomed. I really hope it brings parents and children together, so that after watching it, we all want to hug one another and laugh together," emphasised Honoured Artist of Russia, Russian Media Group Board member and General Producer of "House in Uproar", Yelena Sever.

Yelena Sever also performed the theme song from "House in Uproar".

The film presentation marked the starting point for the development of the charitable initiative "Every Child Is Our Own", launched by Russian Media Group and RU.TV. Under the project, the partners plan to organise events for the families of participants and veterans of the special military operation, orphans, children living in children's homes, and beneficiaries of the Defenders of the Fatherland State Foundation and the Child Protection Foundation.

The Open Day concluded with an extensive concert programme. Russian Media Group and the Rocket Kids music label were the Open Day's partners.
