A flower garden of the Moscow region opened at the "Future in Flowers" festival of the RUSSIA EXPO
29.05.2024
Specialists of the region have created a landscape composition “Green Horizons”. All the presented plants are from nurseries of the Moscow region.
The project reflects an innovative approach to stormwater management in the urban environment - rain gardens. Thus, growing plants with large root systems in places where water often accumulates helps to retain and filter precipitation. Such technologies are also used in the Moscow region. For example, rain gardens have been used in the improvement of Lake Stakhanovskoye in Elektrogorsk, Green Knot and Dubrava parks in Pavlovsky Posad.
The “Future in Flowers” festival will last until July 8.
