Tax literacy will be discussed at the International RUSSIA EXPO
The Federal Tax Service plans to talk about financial literacy at the International RUSSIA EXPO. This was announced by deputy head of the Federal Tax Service Konstantin Chekmyshev at the Moscow Financial Forum that started today.
Financial literacy of the population is one of the key tasks of specialized agencies in our country. The financial well-being of one person ultimately is the basis for the financial well-being of the entire state. Special attention should be paid to the attitude of citizens to taxes. According to deputy head of the Federal Tax Service Konstantin Chekmyshev, people should clearly understand how the taxation system works and what their taxes are used for. Tax officials will talk about this at the International RUSSIA EXPO.
"We have a tax dictation, a tax literacy textbook, seminars, webinars: we have held 500 webinars in new territories since the beginning of the year, there were 300 thousand visitors. We will participate in the International RUSSIA EXPO and will talk about it there", — said Konstantin Chekmyshev.
It is better to start educational activities from school, and further knowledge should be available to a citizen throughout his life. For instance, going to the website to fill out a tax return, the user should easily get the necessary information and knowledge that he lacks. Such as about all the tax deductions and the necessary documents to process them.
"Taxes are part of the contribution to our common future", — concluded the speaker.
The first event to be held at the Russia National Centre, which is being established by the order of President Vladimir Putin, will be the International Science Fiction Symposium and Exhibition "Inventing the Future". The symposium will take place from November 4 to 6.
Tomorrow, the International RUSSIA EXPO will conclude its work. From November 2023 to July 2024, it was visited by more than 18 million guests.
Every day, for eight months, the RUSSIA EXPO delighted guests and gave unforgettable emotions.
