The countdown to the opening of the International RUSSIA EXPO has begun on the country’s tallest television tower

The media facade of the Ostankino TV Tower in Moscow has launched a countdown to the start of the International RUSSIA EXPO, which will be opened on November 4, 2023 at VDNH and will run until April 12, 2024.

The countdown video will be shown on the Ostankino Tower at five-minute intervals 24 hours a day. In addition, a similar video will be shown to residents and guests of Moscow on the facade of Sber’s building on Kutuzovsky Prospect, 32.

"With only 10 days left until the exposition, we are finalizing the last preparations. It will be possible to see all the major achievements of our country over the past years in a single place, and there are many of them. On the opening days, November 4 and 5, we are expecting a spectacular program: live performances of popular artists, presentations, multimedia shows, master classes, thematic film screenings and lectures", — said Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"».

From November 9, 2023 to January 14, 2024, the Russia Expo will host the Days of Regions: the presentation of achievements will be made by the heads of Russian regions, business and educational programs and cultural events will be held. Guests of the exposition will also be able to taste special dishes of the cuisine of Russian peoples during the Days of Regions and in the menus of VDNH restaurants.

In addition, Russia Expo will become a venue for marriage ceremonies: couples from more than 30 regions will have their weddings at VDNH. The main venue will be the cultural projects zone in Pavilion 75. The newlyweds will be congratulated by the top officials of the subjects of the Russian Federation.

The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered at a single venue. Visitors will be presented expositions of all 89 regions of Russia, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations. Cultural and entertainment events, an extensive business and educational program are also waiting for the guests. Representatives of federal authorities, large corporations and public associations will take part in the exposition.
