Open shows
of Russian brands continue at the RUSSIA EXPO as part of Moscow Fashion Week.
Pavilion No. 75 became a platform where seven talented designers from St.
Petersburg, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Kostroma, Ivanovo, Tambov, Krasnoyarsk and
Novosibirsk demonstrated their collections.
A.lilium
(St. Petersburg)
The third
day of the Moscow Fashion Week in the Cultural Projects Zone of the RUSSIA
EXPO, in Pavilion No. 75 of VDNH opened with a show by St. Petersburg designer
Anastasia Yaguzhinskaya. The women's collection of the A.lilium brand was based
on a fitted jacket and its variations: a spencer jacket, a long vest or a dress
jacket. On the catwalk models showed sets with tulle and guipure skirts,
complex voluminous or deconstructed sleeves, which alternated with tight
dresses decorated with wide fringe and pins.
BRAND BRAMA
(Komsomolsk-on-Amur)
Under the
accompaniment of a live performance by singer Sofia Brinz, BRAND BRAMA
presented clothes combining futuristic style, cyberpunk aesthetics and anime
culture. The designer and founder of the brand is Tatiana Bramaretskaya from
monsoon Komsomolsk-on-Amur. Perhaps that's why BRAND BRAMA specializes in the
production of original jackets and pants, which are not afraid of neither rain
nor wind. The collection consisted of functional sets for men and women,
emphasizing individuality: bold geometric shapes, an abundance of color and
prints, non-standard lines, technological details and innovative materials.
ALISIA
FIORI (Kostroma)
Alisia
Fiori is a brand of women's and children's clothing from Kostroma. Designer
Irina Sharova took school uniforms for girls and teenagers and office feminine
clothes as a basis, paying special attention to the quality of materials. This
season 40 timeless models were presented - flying dresses with floral print and
flounces, A-silhouette dresses of different length with voluminous sleeves. The
collection was created using mostly natural fabrics, linen and cotton, as well
as recycled blended materials in accordance with the ideas of sustainable
fashion.
DIMA
KUSTIKOV (Ivanovo)
"Collection-Fantasy
No. 1" from the DIMA KUSTIKOV brand is a predominantly masculine
collection with occasional feminine imagery. Dima Kustikov, a designer from
Ivanovo, has rethought the modern problem of self-determination.
Deconstruction, experiments with form, mixing textures and author's prints,
denim with contrast stitching, customization techniques turned into a
fashionable artistic statement with an appeal to the younger generation.
Contrasting makeup, disheveled hair and free gait of the models also added to
the special mood of the collection.
Lyubov
Miloserdova (Tambov)
The
collection "Rachmaninoff. Inspiration" is a collaboration of clothing
designer Lyubov Miloserdova from Tambov and opera singer Tatyana Abdulina, who
were united by their love for the great composer's work. A fusion of music and
fashion became feminine cocktail and evening looks based on the play of
textures and layering. Delicate color palette and original forms of puffy
sleeves refer to the biography of Sergei Rachmaninoff, who for many years was
given white lilac flowers by his secret admirer. That's why the show was opened
by a model in a snow-white double suit. Classic images were alternated with
theatrical and dramatic, but all of them were imbued with lightness and
sensuality.
Anita
Leskova (Krasnoyarsk)
Anita
Leskova is a brand from the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk, which exists since
2010. During the fashion show models
performed interactive actions imitating movements from children's outdoor
games. The main colors were black and white with rare red accents. The
abundance of lacquered materials, transparent mesh and tulle helped to create
memorable playful images, complemented by conceptual elements: belt, bag, bolt
earrings, mono-earrings. These accessories were made especially for the show by
the designer-partner Daria Semyonova.
SVETLANA SHPADYREVA (Novosibirsk)
The young Novosibirsk brand Svetlana Shpadyreva closed the
third day of shows during Moscow Fashion Week at the International RUSSIA EXPO
in Pavilion No. 75 of VDNH. Founder and designer Svetlana Shpadyreva adheres to
the idea of sustainable fashion and turns men's suits that were not noticed by
the customer into hot women's looks. The trend for a jacket from a man's shoulder
got a new reading: deconstruction, complex shape, decoration with flounces,
contrast inserts helped to create a new elegant classic. Men's pants turned
into long skirts with high slits. One of the bright looks was a wide skirt,
completely made in patchwork technique from multicolored denim. The outfits
were complemented with berets. The whole collection epitomizes the brand's
philosophy: careful consumption is a reflection of the new world.
