The RUSSIA EXPO is hosting a strategic session "Development of Family Travel Routes in the Regions of the Central Federal District". There, experts are working out effective solutions that will lay the foundation for the resolution of the strategic session.

"The CFD is the largest district, the largest part of the country's economy, more than 40 million tourists a year. It is important to overcome the negative demographic dynamics, which can lead to catastrophic consequences. For this purpose, the regions need to unite, as one man is no man. At the level of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President it was decided to help the regions and enlarge in terms of organizational structures to solve problems in the field of tourism," said the Head of the Department for the Implementation of Public Projects of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russian President in the CFD Sergei Shevchukov, while opening the session.

He also spoke about the positive dynamics of work: in 2021 a project office on tourism for the Voronezh region was created in the pilot mode, last year this experience was extended to five more regions. And the team of the project office works on a number of tasks, the main of which is communication: among regions, industry organizations, authorities among themselves, as well as dialogue at the federal level, and dialogue with the consumer of tourist services.

"Our office does not duplicate the functionality of the executive authorities in the field of tourism. Therefore, for those tasks that were formulated in the Office of the Presidential Representative - these are communications, product customization and interregional development of tourism in the context of creating conditions for the development of family, individual and group tourism - we have prepared our tools and solutions. In particular, we have created a unified event calendar so that the regions do not compete with each other, but on the contrary distribute the load by weeks, weekends in such a way that some regions highlight their neighbors," said the Head of the Project Office of the Central Federal District Stanislav Aristov.

The main task and format of the strategic session is to work out concrete proposals for solving four blocks of objectives. These are territorial management: development of modern tourist infrastructure and investment attraction, common standards of hospitality in the CFD and staffing of the tourism industry, as well as marketing of territories and promotion of macro-regional tourist products, and development of motor tourism and family tourist routes in the CFD.
