"Peace! Labor! May! Reboot" concert was held at the RUSSIA EXPO
The Main Street Stage hosted a festive concert "Peace!
Labor! May! Reboot" — it was timed to coincide with May Day celebrations.
Famous Russian artists performed cover versions of Soviet songs.
The May Day concert featured songs from the USSR, which
became favorites when they were performed by Mikhail Boyarsky, Yuri Antonov,
Eduard Khil, Muslim Magomaev and Vladimir Vysotsky. Among them are
"Green-Eyed Taxi", "How Beautiful is This World", "Pilots",
"The March of High-Rise Installers" and others. "Peace! Labor!
May! Reboot" presented versions of nationally favorite compositions in
modern interpretation and arrangement. They were performed by Yulianna
Karaulova, ST, Mitya Fomin, Na-Na, Chris Yank, the Grinkevich and 5sta Family
bands and the Modern orchestra. In addition, the program included dance
numbers.
The concert concluded the May Day festive program at the
Exposition. A multi-thousand march of 10 thematic columns under the slogan
"May! Labor is Cool!" passed through VDNH today. They included
university students, representatives of state authorities, employers and large
Russian companies, partners and employers of the RSS, and participants of the
student volunteer movement from different regions of Russia. In addition, the
procession was attended by athletes, participants of youth movements and
families-dynasties that pass on labor experience from generation to generation.
It was completed with a flash mob "We Lead the Future", whose participants
reproduced the traditions of celebrating May Day in different decades of the
Soviet era, and a rally-concert.
The Exposition also hosted the final of the All-Russian
contest of youth projects as part of the All-Russian labor campaign "Labor
is Cool".
As part of the exclusive program "Thursday. Development," the National Centre RUSSIA hosted an educational event titled "Zoo World: Animals and Us" on March 13.
