Festive flash mob dedicated to Russia Day was held at the Exposition
On June 12, Pavilion No. 75 "Regions of Russia"
hosted a dance flash mob "Russia without Borders" dedicated to the
celebration of Russia Day. A total of 120 professional dancers and guests of
the Exposition took part in the mass event symbolizing the unity and cohesion
of the country's peoples.
The flash mob was accompanied by the song "I, You, He,
She..." in a modern musical arrangement. The visitors to the Exposition
were shown a professional stunt number by the experienced dancers, and then
anyone could join the festive choreographic act, performing simple movements
together with the artists.
The event continued with an equally massive festive round
dance organized by the Russian Society "Knowledge". With a
close-knit, multicolored chain woven from representatives of different nations
of the country, dressed in national costumes, as well as visitors to the
exhibition and foreign guests, the participants of the round dance circled
around the stands of the regions, symbolically erasing the boundaries between
the inhabitants of one vast country. And, of course, the important attributes
of the round dance became Russian flags and thematic musical accompaniment.
"Where else to celebrate Russia Day but at the RUSSIA
EXPO, and I am very happy to see such a colorful procession. The impressions
are unforgettable, it was as if I had traveled all over our country in a few
minutes, and I was welcomed everywhere. I congratulate everyone on the holiday
and wish my fellow countrymen good health, happiness and well-being, and our
beloved Russia — peace and prosperity," Anna Kovaleva, who came to the
Exposition from Odintsovo near Moscow, shared her impressions.
During the day, festive flash mobs dedicated to Russia Day
will also be held at the expositions of the regions. In addition, the
Exposition guests will enjoy a variety of mini-expositions, masterclasses,
theatrical parades and other exciting events for the whole family. The
large-scale cultural program of Russia Day was opened by the performance of the
drummers' show group from Samara "Drum Boom", and the holiday will
conclude with a bright concert "To You, Russia!".
