The exposition of Rosrezerv has been updated at the RUSSIA EXPO
On January 15, 2024, the updated exposition of the Federal Agency for State Reserves (Rosrezerv) was officially opened at the RUSSIA EXPO with the participation of Dmitry Yuryevich Gogin, Head of Rosrezerv.
The Rosrezerv's stand is a unique opportunity to enter the treasury of the Motherland, the storehouse of state material values. The exposition is made looking like a fragment of an operating underground storage facility.
"Our achievements are the state reserves, which have not only been preserved in a critical period of history, but also multiplied in recent years. And compatriots must not have a shadow of a doubt that the state has the ability to provide all the necessary assistance to its citizens in case of any emergency. The Rosrezerv's storages have everything necessary to ensure the vital activity of any of the Russian regions, should it be required. The state realizes the need to increase the stored reserves. The events of the last two years have given a clear signal to stay on this track. All this time there is no difference for us: be it weekdays, weekends, holidays. The State Reserve System has been working in a reinforced mode since the first day of the Special Military Operation. Combines are shipping supplies for the needs of the Ministry of Defence and for humanitarian aid to the population of the liberated territories. If the situation requires it, our people work 24 hours a day," said Dmitry Gogin.
Like the rest of Russia, Rosrezerv, together with the Ministry of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Disaster Relief and other colleagues, devoted the past year to helping regions and other countries. They have been busy setting up production and logistics chains, building and rebuilding schools and hospitals. In 2023, the Rosrezerv carried out 11 humanitarian missions, and 90 in the last ten years.
The state material reserve is an integral element of the national security system. Rosrezerv has a developed network of storage facilities, which are located in all federal districts. The reserves are kept here in a state of operational readiness and can be utilized immediately in case of crisis situations by decision of the Government. Today, the state material reserve is also an effective tool for overcoming possible resource constraints caused by attempts of external economic pressure on the country.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Throughout the entire period of the Exposition, guests can look forward to cultural events, a rich business and educational program. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. The exposition is held at VDNH in Moscow from November 4 until April 12.
As part of the exclusive program "Thursday. Development," the National Centre RUSSIA hosted an educational event titled "Zoo World: Animals and Us" on March 13.
Guests can get acquainted with rare flowering plants that have medicinal properties at the large-scale exposition "Journey Across Russia".
