The results of the I International Contest of Creativity and Advertising in the Tourism Industry "Travel More!" were summed up at the International RUSSIA EXPO. The awarding ceremony took place on June 12, 2024 within the framework of the opening of the IV Russian Tourism Forum "Travel" in Moscow.

The Grand Prix of the competition was awarded to the project to develop a museum exposition for the opening of the Viktor Petrovich Astafyev National Centre in the village of Ovsyanka, Krasnoyarsk region. Among the winners are also works from China, Cuba and Iran, projects on territory branding, promotion of locations and events, as well as advertising campaigns from more than 20 regions of Russia.

"Seven countries took part in the first season of the competition, and all 89 regions from Russia submitted applications. Such interest shows that our country is striving to unlock its tourism potential. We have a lot of things to surprise tourists with, because in Russia the most diverse types of recreation are available. Today tourism in Russia is developing dynamically and becoming one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy. The state pays great attention to it. Thanks to the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry" travel in the country is becoming more affordable and safe, and the quality of rest is more comfortable," said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.

"At the 'Travel More!' contest, we reward all those who promote beautiful places — both in our country and beyond. Together with the Roscongress Foundation and ANO "National Priorities" we have collected the best Russian and foreign practices to promote tourism products and, of course, this competition helps us to build a dialog with the tourism industry. The contest received 550 applications from all 89 regions of the country and seven friendly countries, so we managed to create conditions for good competition," said the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov, opening the award ceremony of the contest.

The contest "Travel More!" unites professionals who showcase the tourism potential of their country. Its mission is to collect the best ideas and practices of tourism promotion, inspire people to travel and open Russia for guests from all over the world. The contest was organized by ANO "National Priorities", the Roscongress Foundation and the Red Apple International Advertising Festival with the support of the Russian Government, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and the Association of Communication Agencies of Russia (ACAR).

The competition had two tracks: Russian and international. Projects from all 89 subjects of the Russian Federation participated in the Russian track. Countries from the CIS and BRICS plus: Belarus, China, Cuba, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Serbia and Abkhazia joined the international track. There are four winners in each category, which are determined by advertising formats: video, advertising campaign, territory branding and special project/event.

The jury of "Travel More!" includes leading creators and experts of the advertising market, members of the international jury of the Red Apple Festival, winners of awards of the largest national and international advertising festivals.
