A campaign in support of residents of the Belgorod region was held at the RUSSIA EXPO
On May 13 at the RUSSIA EXPO at the stand of the Belgorod
region in Pavilion No. 75, a campaign in support of the residents of the region
who suffered from shelling was held. Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of
the RUSSIA EXPO, Leo Bokeria, President of the Bakulev National Medical
Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery, Alexander Dvoinikh, Chairman of the
Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Nature Management,
and Archpriest Vladimir Volgin laid flowers at the stand of the Belgorod
region.
"Today the RUSSIA EXPO is hosting a big event — the
All-Russian Forum ‘Village Workers’. Its participants — guests from all 89
regions of Russia — have decided to support our initiative and help the
residents of the Belgorod region. I urge everyone to join the fundraising. As
our President Vladimir Putin said, the centuries-old cohesion and unity of the
people of Russia is a colossal, all-conquering force," said Natalia Virtuozova.
Alexander Dvoinikh noted that life in the Belgorod region
continues. "Today, together with all the participants of the forum, we honored
the memory of those who died in Belgorod region. I would like to express words
of admiration for the resilience of Belgorod residents, agrarians, people who
work, who have been under serious pressure for quite a long time, but still
retain unity. The region and the economy are living, Belgorod agrarians are
showing tremendous results. All residents of our country should unite and
support this beautiful region. I would like to wish them strength and say that
the whole Russia, all the regions of our country are with them," said Alexander
Dvoinikh.
Leo Bokeria emphasized that the residents of the Belgorod
region are now supported by the whole Russia. "Residents of Belgorod and its
surroundings, I want to wish you all good health, prosperity, unity. And you
can be sure that all of us, all of our great country, together with you,
support you," added Leo Bokeria.
In turn, Archpriest Vladimir Volgin noted that now the
people of Russia need cohesion and unity. "Belgorod, the Belgorod region are
very close to my heart, so I was very worried when these tragic events
occurred. I served as a priest in the Belgorod region for several years. If we
unite, we will win," said Archpriest Vladimir Volgin.
