The National Centre RUSSIA and Rospatent join forces to support the country’s innovation-driven development
The Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Natalia
Virtuozova, and the Head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Yuri
Zubov, signed a cooperation agreement. The ceremony was held on 16 October as
part of Rospatent's XXX International Scientific and Practical Conference.
"The National Centre RUSSIA is a space where technology, science and ideas
become accessible and relevant to everyone. Rospatent is the agency that
protects these ideas and helps turn them into achievements. We have been
working together for several years, and today, we could say, we have formalised
our partnership. As before, we will jointly organise business programmes and
public events. Our shared task is to show how Russia is advancing in science
and technology and inspire young people to make discoveries of their own,"
said the Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Natalia Virtuozova.
The long-term cooperation between Rospatent and the National Centre RUSSIA,
formalised in the agreement, also provides for joint efforts to promote a
culture of intellectual property and the protection of intellectual property
rights, develop educational programmes and hold workshops for specific groups
of visitors to the National Centre.
"Our cooperation aims to strengthen the country's technological
leadership, promote the achievements of Russian science, engage young people in
innovation and support domestic manufacturers," stated the Head of
Rospatent, Yuri Zubov.
