The National Centre RUSSIA congratulates everyone on the Day of Crimea’s Reunification with Russia.
The Day of Crimea’s Reunification with Russia is celebrated on March 18. The Republic of Crimea is part of the Russian Federation, and the peninsula is widely represented at the large-scale exposition of the National Centre RUSSIA, "Journey Across Russia." Among the famous displays showcasing the region is the Crimean Bridge. According to the Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, the structure has become one of the largest completed infrastructure projects.
"Over the past years, we have come a long way. Thanks to our President, the Government of Russia, and other regions of the country, thousands of infrastructure projects have been implemented in Crimea. Among them are the Ivan Aivazovsky International Airport, the Tavrida Highway, and the Crimean Bridge. Crimea’s industry and agriculture are developing dynamically. Special attention is given to supporting motherhood and childhood. Schools and kindergartens are being built, providing new opportunities for children’s development. The most famous children's camp in the world, the legendary Artek, has been transformed for the better. Our region is becoming an increasingly attractive vacation destination. Various types of tourism are developing, new accommodations are opening, and beaches are being improved. But our greatest value, which remains unchanged, is a united civil society. We know that together, we will overcome all obstacles and achieve all our goals," noted the Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov.
The opportunities for domestic tourism on the peninsula are also presented at the "Journey Across Russia" exposition. Visitors to the National Centre RUSSIA can admire the beauty of the Tauric Chersonese Museum-Reserve and learn about the production of Crimean wine.
During the all-Russian survey "What does the Motherland begin with?", people across the country are answering this question in their own way, opening up the innermost corners of their souls.
Souvenir nevalyashkas (traditional Russian roly-poly dolls), are attracting particular attention, with guests choosing them for their harmonious combination of Russian colour and traditional Chinese symbols.
Under the guidance of artisans, each guest made an unusual souvenir that can become either a personal talisman or a gift with a special story.
