The National Centre RUSSIA invites everyone to join free guided tours
Free guided tours are held at the National Centre RUSSIA for
all visitors of the expositions "Journey Across Russia," "The Birth of Scale," and along the new route "The Russian Skyscraper."
The "Journey Across Russia" exposition covers all
federal districts of the country, which can be visited within an hour and a
half. Guests will explore the culture, natural and historical landmarks of the
regions, as well as learn about key achievements and innovative developments.
All expositions are enhanced with modern technologies:
virtual reality, video content, and infographics, creating a fully immersive
experience.
"Each hall is a new discovery. The interactive screens
and the opportunity to engage with the exhibits made the visit to the
exposition 'Journey Across Russia' especially memorable," noted Yevgeny
Velichko, a guest of the National Centre RUSSIA.
Every day, except Mondays, the guided tour "Evolution
and Diversity of Russian Architecture" takes place as part of "The
Birth of Scale" exposition.
Visitors will discover 10 thematic blocks. The exposition
covers wooden architecture, stone buildings of the 16th–19th centuries, the
experimental designs of the 1920s, Soviet modernism, architecture in extreme
conditions (Arctic cities, floating houses, innovative residential capsules),
as well as modern high-rise buildings. It also features unrealised projects
that played a significant role in the development of Russian architecture.
In addition, guides will speak about Russian architects who
have gained international recognition.
The format of the tours is interactive. Visitors will have
access to large-scale models, digital animations, tactile layouts, and rare
archival materials.
Starting from May 13, the National Centre RUSSIA will launch
a new guided tour titled "The Russian Skyscraper." The route combines
two parts: the exposition at the Centre and a walk through the Moscow City
business district.
First, participants will explore the topic of high-rise
construction within the framework of "The Birth of Scale" exposition,
and then set off on a walk among the most renowned towers of Moscow City, enter
some of them, and learn how this futuristic area was created.
Advance registration is required to attend. Visitors can
sign up on the website russia.ru in the "Events" section.
The lecture "Transport Architecture of Russia," part of the educational series "Symbols of Time," took place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
From May 29 to August 17, applications are open for young journalists, bloggersб and media professionals from across the country.
On August 2 and 3, listeners of Radio Russia will have a unique opportunity to hear two episodes of the podcast "Dialogues about the Future" once again.
