The National Centre RUSSIA will be the main venue for the All-Russian Educational Tax Marathon
The All-Russian Educational Tax Marathon will begin on 23
October at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow, launching Tax Culture and
Literacy Month. Organised for the first time by the Federal Tax Service of
Russia and Academy FTS LAB, the educational initiative will bring together
business representatives, young people, municipal authorities and anyone
seeking to navigate tax matters with confidence.
The National Centre RUSSIA will be the marathon's main venue. Nizhny Novgorod,
Stavropol, Saint Petersburg and Vladivostok will also join the event.
Participants will be able to expand their knowledge of taxes and learn more
about their role in the country's development. Accreditation for the event at
the National Centre RUSSIA is available on the website.
The month's programme will continue with the All-Russian Student Olympiad
"Taxes" and the All-Russian Tax Dictation. The Olympiad will allow
students to test their knowledge of tax law, economics and international
taxation, while the dictation will give anyone interested an opportunity to
assess their tax literacy.
Another event during Tax Culture and Literacy Month will be the Municipal Tax
Forum, held in Saint Petersburg on 12 November. Together with experts from the
Federal Tax Service of Russia, participants will discuss managing tax arrears,
reducing risks in municipal procurement and informing residents about how the
taxes they pay help their municipalities develop.
Detailed information and registration for all events are available on the
official website of the educational organisation "Academy FTS LAB".
The outcomes of Tax Culture and Literacy Month will be reviewed in early
December.
