Natalia Virtuozova summed up the results of the II International Symposium "Inventing the Future"
86 countries, the global Open Dialogue system, the second hackathon of the First Neurocontent Cup, and the first Russian Science Fiction Literary Award — Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Natalia Virtuozova, summed up the results of the II International Symposium "Inventing the Future".
"The II International Symposium ‘Inventing the Future’ has come to an end. This year we welcomed experts from 86 countries — from North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Thank you all for such great attention," said Natalia Virtuozova. "Our Symposium is special. We brought together representatives of many creative professions — scientists, architects, and artists. It’s a pity that this grand event is coming to a close. But there’s also good news: yesterday, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of Russia, Maxim Oreshkin, announced that the Symposium will now become part of the global Open Dialogue ecosystem."
She noted that this year brought several new features. For example, the Open Lecture Hall was open to the public — anyone could come, listen, and take part. In addition, all the scenarios discussed during the sessions were visualised, with a final message that "the future will take all of us along."
Summing up the results, Natalia Virtuozova mentioned that the second hackathon of the First Neurocontent Cup had concluded and the winners had been announced: "We saw what kind of scenarios neural networks are preparing for us — love, books, trips to the countryside. The stories differ, but one thing remains the same: in the future, we will definitely be happy."
During the II International Symposium "Inventing the Future", the first Russian Science Fiction Literary Award was also presented — an initiative established by the National Centre RUSSIA together with the Union of Writers of Russia.
"The main takeaway is that it’s not only science fiction that’s becoming more fascinating, but also people’s enduring love for printed books. That’s why we have begun collecting essays for the Open Dialogue. And now we’re waiting for bold, daring ideas from all over the world," emphasised Natalia Virtuozova.
The II International Symposium "Inventing the Future" is an important event in terms of generating ideas for the future.
