"It takes two or three days to explore the entire National Centre RUSSIA" – actor Arseny Popov
Actor, comedian, and improviser Arseny Popov shared his impressions after visiting the National Centre RUSSIA. He was a speaker at the Open Lecture Hall during the Symposium "Inventing the Future", where he discussed leisure and recreation for the person of tomorrow. The session was organised in partnership with the Russian society Znanie.
"It’s better to set aside two or three days to explore everything the National Centre has to offer. There’s an incredible amount of fascinating things here. I really enjoyed it and recommend everyone to visit. I also hope that the new building I saw on the model today will be just as impressive," said Arseny Popov.
he new Centre will be built on the grounds of Expocentre on Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment. The total area of the multifunctional exposition space will be around 205,000 square metres. The concept of the complex, designed in a bionic style, reflects the country’s rich visual diversity. The building’s shape evokes associations with Russia’s natural landscapes, while its silhouette resembles a flowing snow cover and vast open spaces.
In addition to its exposition areas (60,000 sq. m), the complex will feature a concert hall with transformable seating and stage, a media centre, and a youth creative cluster. It will also include a congress centre, spaces for business communication and networking, as well as Gastronomic Rows.
Representatives from five countries discussed prospects for collaboration for the sake of the future.
On 8 October a lecture titled "Design Today — Future Tomorrow" was held.
