Unusual plants of Russia await guests at the National Centre’s exposition
Guests can
get acquainted with rare flowering plants that have medicinal properties at the
large-scale exposition "Journey Across Russia" in the Volga Federal
District zone at the National Centre RUSSIA. This location has become one of
the "greenest" zones of the exposition, showcasing the region's
natural wealth to visitors. Here, guests can not only see what plants used in
the production of medical preparations look like but also experience their
aromas.
Visitors
have access to a format that demonstrates a wide variety of combinations of
flowering plant scents. They are presented in the form of large aromatic
candles, whose decor is also made using herbs and flowers.
Among the
plants presented at the exposition "Journey Across Russia" are
forget-me-not, lily of the valley, clover, oregano, and many others. Those
interested can find a combination of flower scents suitable for them and learn
about the industries in which these plants are used in our country's
productions.
Also, among
the "spring objects" of the exposition are apple orchards and the
vine forest of the North Caucasus. In the area dedicated to the North Caucasian
Federal District, guests will be informed about how quickly fruits in our
country's orchards ripen and about the northernmost and only subtropical vine
forest in Russia. This relic of moderate-subtropical vine forests in Russia is
located in the Magaramkent region of Dagestan. Residents and guests of Moscow
can see it at the National Centre RUSSIA without leaving the capital.
