On Kirov, charity and janitors: Comedian Marconi at the RUSSIA EXPO
Lots of jokes, friendly banter and ironic answers. Comedian and TV presenter Vladimir Volkovysky (Marconi) managed to make everyone laugh at a meeting with students.
In Pavilion D the events of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation "Dialogue on Equal Terms" continue.
This time students of Russian universities, volunteers, and everyone who wished could speak with the famous humorist. Once Vladimir Marconi learned to play the saxophone, dreamed of performing on the same stage with the group "Moral Code", then successfully studied to become an agronomist. And now he makes people laugh, hosts TV programs and creates his own comedy projects.
Vladimir Marconi, a native of Vyatka, arrived at the International RUSSIA EXPO exactly on the Day of the Kirov region. And immediately made a joke about it.
"I see a guy with a coat among the audience. He doesn't trust the coat room, you can immediately tell that he is ours, a Kirovian", — Marconi said to the laughter in the hall.
And then he seriously clarified that Kirov citizens do sometimes seem stern and closed up, but once you get to know them better, you realize how friendly and very easy to communicate these people are.
Marconi told about his native Kirov with great warmth, even jokingly asked to remove the audience member who asked a "provocative question" about the bad sides of the city. It turns out that once the star comedian worked for the good of his small homeland, serving as a janitor. And then it turned out that there was his colleague in the hall: a student-designer, who now works part-time as a janitor. To everyone's delight, Vladimir immediately shared his strategy for successful street sweeping and advised the girl to stick to her profession, given that neural networks are about to take away the bread from designers.
December 5 is Volunteer Day in our country, and therefore many people asked him about his charity work. And, it seems, this is the only topic that embarrasses the comedian a little. He modestly talked about helping the "Butterfly Children" fund, but in the end he still reduced the pious speeches to a joke.
"Don't I have a halo above my head yet? Although with my hair any spotlight will provide me with it", — the presenter grinned.
At the end of the meeting, Vladimir not only shook hands with everyone present, but also took pictures with all those who wanted it.
The final panel pitching session for the "Investments in Connectivity" track took place on 29 April at the National Centre RUSSIA.
On the second day of the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" the most remarkable essays submitted by authors in each track were presented.
The topic "Investments in Human Capital" attracted the largest number of essays from around the world, becoming one of the most in-demand themes within the framework of the Open Dialogue.
