The "Educational Quarter" of innovations will be presented at the National Centre RUSSIA by Moscow school No. 1409
The final event within the framework of the project "Open School: Presentation of Best Practices" will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA on May 13. Representatives of Moscow Secondary General Education School No. 1409 will share their innovative approaches to education and upbringing of the younger generation.
School No. 1409 is not merely a general education institution, but an entire quarter of knowledge and achievements, where classical values and modern teaching methods are harmoniously combined. It offers a welcoming space for dreams, research, and the comprehensive development of the individual.
Guests of the National Centre RUSSIA will learn about all levels of education at the school, from preschool to pre-profile classes, get acquainted with the unique "urban classrooms" such as medical, engineering, mathematical, and others, and discover a wide range of creative programmes, social projects, and areas of supplementary education. The programme will also include a presentation by the School Student Council and creative performances by pupils.
"Open School: Presentation of Best Practices" is an original project by the National Centre RUSSIA, serving as a unique platform for sharing innovative approaches to education and the upbringing of youth. The project’s events bring together teachers, schoolchildren, parents, graduates of pedagogical universities, and young specialists in search of new effective methods and approaches in educational activities.
One of the main goals of "Open School" is to demonstrate that school education can and must be engaging and effective, capable of unlocking talents and helping young people become successful, in-demand, and happy. The project has already featured presentations by lyceums of RANEPA, HSE University, the Kapitsa Phystech Lyceum, and other leading educational institutions.
On 14 July, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted an off-site educational seminar for participants in MGIMO University's Professional Retraining Programme "Urban Infrastructure and Territorial Development Management".
