"Knowledge" Society will hold a film festival at the RUSSIA EXPO
The Russian Society "Knowledge" will present an extensive program at the International RUSSIA EXPO. This was revealed by the general director of "Knowledge" Maxim Dreval. Thus, the guests of the exposition will be invited to the documentary film festival and educational marathon "Knowledge.First".
"As general partners of the educational program of this exposition, we have a lot of things planned. The main thing we want to announce is our traditional Federal educational marathon "Knowledge.First". It will be held at the VDNH from November 4 to 6. Meetings with the most outstanding speakers will be organized. By the way, everyone can get there, the application process has already started and will last until October 20", — said Maxim Dreval.
"Knowledge" will hold a number of educational projects at the exposition. Among them is a documentary film festival. As the general director of "Knowledge" added, now the selection of works in different nominations is underway, the best ones will be shown at the exposition.
"There is a separate nomination for young documentary filmmakers, even schoolchildren can submit their works. The winners will receive international coverage at the World Youth Festival, our grants and support in promotion", — said Dreval.
Another interesting event is the photo exposition "Knowledge.Russia". Both professionals and amateurs will be able to present their works. It is important that the photos show the image of Russia: through its people, nature, scientific objects and everything the country is proud of.
Another project — "Knowledge.Authors" — is designed for those who write songs or are simply fond of poetry. A gala concert with the participation of the contest winners will be held as part of the RUSSIA EXPO. The best texts of patriotic songs and poems will be included in the collection, which will be published after the project. These poems will be read by famous artists, and songwriters will receive support for studio recordings.
During the all-Russian survey "What does the Motherland begin with?", people across the country are answering this question in their own way, opening up the innermost corners of their souls.
Souvenir nevalyashkas (traditional Russian roly-poly dolls), are attracting particular attention, with guests choosing them for their harmonious combination of Russian colour and traditional Chinese symbols.
Under the guidance of artisans, each guest made an unusual souvenir that can become either a personal talisman or a gift with a special story.
