One of the last visitors to the RUSSIA EXPO will go on a trip across Russia
On July 8,
a ceremony was held to award a certificate for a family trip across Russia to a
lucky visitor of the International RUSSIA EXPO. He was five-year-old Damir
Dukhnich from Moscow, who came to the Exposition with his family: his parents
Dmitry and Inna, and his three-year-old brother Zakhar.
"We
came to the Exposition for the first time in honor of the holiday and did not
know that it was closing today. Many thanks to all the organizers! This is a
great surprise for us. We are just lucky, fortunate people," said Dmitry
Dukhnich.
The guests
received gifts from the RUSSIA EXPO and the Ministry of Transport of the
Russian Federation. In a solemn atmosphere, they were presented with a
certificate for an eleven-day trip to Russian cities by different modes of
transport.
Natalia
Virtuozova, Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO, and Roman Starovoit, Minister
of Transport of the Russian Federation, congratulated Damir and his family.
"Today
we have a day that will go down in history. The Exposition is coming to an end.
Your family is one of the last guests, and the lucky visitor was Damir, we are
awarding him a cruise on one of the main rivers - the Volga - through the
historic cities of Russia. Thanks to the Ministry of Transport, your family
will have a unique opportunity to see our great country," said Natalia
Virtuozova, Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO.
Damir
together with his family will visit 11 cities of Russia and get acquainted with
their culture and history. The first day the family will spend on a sightseeing
tour of the capital. After that they will take a cruise, which will depart from
the Northern River Station. Further on the itinerary are visits to Uglich,
Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Bolgar, Samara, Saratov and Volgograd. The
journey will conclude in Rostov-on-Don, the capital of the Don region and the
Southern Federal District.

gift to one of the families who visited the RUSSIA EXPO, - said Roman
Starovoit. - You will have a fascinating trip on a motorboat on the Volga River
to Rostov-on-Don. You will be able to truly appreciate the beauty and grandeur

will give you unforgettable memories," said the head of the Ministry of
Transport.
The
tradition of awarding the millionth guests began with Matvey from
Rostov-on-Don, who became the the 500,000th visitor to the Exposition in
November. The milestone guests were congratulated throughout the Exposition.
They were guests from such cities as Penza, Kazan, Barnaul, Tula, Kataysk,
Moscow, Volzhsky, Tyumen, Yaroslavl and others. All of them received
certificates for traveling with excursions to the cities of our country as a
gift.
On July 4,
the Exposition welcomed its 18-millionth visitor. It was 12-year-old Elizaveta
Savina who came to the Exposition from Vladimir together with her family: her
parents Alexei and Ksenia and her 7-year-old brother Makar. The guests received
a certificate for a three-day trip to Omsk region.

The
500,000th guest visited the Exposition on November 8. He was seven-year-old
Matvey, who came with his mother from Rostov-on-Don. The 500,000th guest was
awarded a trip for the whole family to St. Petersburg.
The
Exposition received its first million visitors on November 16. The jubilee
guest was Svetlana Suleymanova, who came to the Exposition with her husband
Salavat. They were awarded three tickets to the ballet "The
Nutcracker" in the Bolshoi Theater, an opportunity to visit the historic
building of the Bank of Russia and stay in one of the capital's hotels. In
addition, the one-millionth guest was paid for travel to Moscow and back to
Penza, from where she came to visit the Exposition.
The
two-millionth visitor to the Exposition was registered on December 2. It was
Marat Sabitov from Kazan, who came to VDNH with his wife Maria. The couple was
presented with a certificate for an excursion to Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP, the
largest power plant in Russia.
The
three-millionth guest visited the Exposition on December 19. He was Alexei
Kozyrev, who came from Barnaul, Altai region, together with his wife Elena.
They were presented with a postcard with congratulations and the signature of
Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as a certificate for a trip to the
Vostochny Cosmodrome, which also compensated for travel and accommodation on
the trip.
The
four-millionth guest was welcomed at the Exposition on January 5. It was Daria
Molodtsova from Tula. The girl came to the Exposition together with her husband
Vladimir and friends Maria Alexandrova and Anton Petrov. Daria received gifts:
a certificate for visiting the best wineries and vineyards of Russia and a
tourist trip to the Krasnodar region.
The
five-millionth guest visited the Exposition on January 17. Polina Dmitrieva, a
seven-year-old resident of Kataysk, Kurgan region, came to the Exposition
together with her mom, dad and younger brother. The family received a
certificate for a trip to the residence of Ded Moroz in Veliky Ustyug with a
personal excursion and a photo session.
The
six-millionth visitor was registered at the Exposition on February 4, three
months after the opening. It was Dmitry Yershov from Moscow. He came to the
Exposition together with his wife Irina and children - 11-year-old Yegor and
six-year-old Liza. The guests received a certificate for a trip to Salekhard
for the main holiday of the peoples of the North, Reindeer Herder's Day.
The
seven-millionth guest visited the Exposition on February 22. Alexei Maximov
from Volzhsky, Volgograd region, came to VDNH in Moscow together with his wife
Anastasia and their children: four-year-old Katya and eight-year-old Varya. At
the stand of the Leningrad region, guests received a family trip along the
"Energy of Ladoga" route.
The
eight-millionth visitor on March 6 was fourteen-year-old Vadim Leizer from
Tyumen, who came to the RUSSIA EXPO together with his parents Pavel and
Anastasia and younger brother Roman. The family was presented with a
certificate for attending a friendly football match between the national teams
of Russia and Serbia, which took place in Moscow on March 21.
The
Exposition's visitor count reached nine million on March 20. The milestone
guest was nine-year-old Andrei Batorov. He came to the Exposition together with
his parents Alexandra, Stanislav and younger sister Sofia. The family received
a certificate for a family trip to Lake Baikal.
On April 6,
the ten-millionth visitor to the Exposition was Konstantin Panfilov from
Yaroslavl, who came with his wife Ekaterina. The couple was awarded a
certificate for a trip to Murmansk with a visit to the world's first
nuclear-powered vessel - the nuclear-powered icebreaker "Lenin" and
one of the universal nuclear-powered icebreakers of FSUE Atomflot.
The
11-millionth guest visited the Exposition on April 25. It was Olga Lutova from
Orel, who came together with her husband Anatoly and two daughters -
eight-year-old Valeria and 15-year-old Sofia. The guests received a certificate
for a four-day trip to "Emerald" Tomsk.
On May 4,
the 12-millionth guest visited the Exposition. It was Ksenia Yushkova from the
Ivanovo region. She came to the Exposition together with her husband Pavel and
two children - six-year-old Pavel and four-year-old Dmitry. The guest was
congratulated at the stand of the Tula region. From the RUSSIA EXPO Directorate
and the Government of the Tula region, Ksenia received a certificate for a
family trip "Discover the Tula Region" to the region's landmarks.
On May 16,
the 13-millionth guest visited the Exposition. It was Tatiana Yasyukovich. She
came to the Exposition with her family: daughter Anastasia Yasyukovich and
grandchildren - sixteen-year-old Vladislav and three-year-old Sasha. As a gift,
the family was given a trip to the Kirov region.
On May 24,
the 14-millionth guest visited the Exposition. It was eight-year-old Kirill
Starov from the Kamchatka region who came to the Exposition with his parents -
Dmitry and Larisa. The millionth visitor was congratulated in the House of
Polymers, where SIBUR's exposition is presented. Kirill was presented with a
certificate for a family trip to Tobolsk, the tourist and industrial capital of
Siberia.
On June 5,
the Exposition was visited by the 15-millionth guest. It was Natalia Korneeva
from Yalta, who came to the Exposition with her husband Anton and their
children - eight-year-old Yaroslav and five-year-old Varvara. The jubilee
visitor was congratulated at the stand of North Ossetia-Alania and presented
with a certificate for a family trip to the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania,
where this year three significant dates are celebrated at once: the 100th
anniversary of the Republic's formation, the 250th anniversary of Ossetia's
joining Russia and the 240th anniversary of the city of Vladikavkaz.
On June 15,
the Exposition was visited by its 16-millionth guest. It was seven-year-old
Elizaveta from Moscow, who came to the Exposition together with her
eleven-year-old brother Roman and her mother Natalia Yelshina. The milestone
visitor was congratulated at the stand of the Samara region. Elizaveta was
presented with a certificate for a family trip, which she will embark on
together with her family. As part of the trip the family will visit beautiful
and significant places of Samara.
On June 26,
the Exposition welcomed its 17-millionth visitor. He was Yegor Morozov, who
came from Volgograd together with his wife Olga and two children: six-year-old
Andrei and nine-year-old Ivan. The guests received gifts from the Exposition
and the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod region. In a solemn atmosphere, they
were presented with a certificate for a three-day trip to the Nizhny Novgorod
region organized by the ANO "Hospitality Agency of the Nizhny Novgorod
Region".
Today, July
8, the RUSSIA EXPO concludes its work. Since November, it has been visited by
more than 18.5 million people. The International RUSSIA EXPO showcased the
country's major achievements on a single platform. Throughout the Exposition,
guests enjoyed cultural events, as well as a rich business and educational
program. Expositions from 89 regions of Russia, leading federal agencies,
corporations and public organizations were presented to visitors.
On July 1,
President Vladimir Putin signed an order to establish the Russia National
Centre to preserve the Exposition’s legacy and demonstrate the country's
achievements.
The first event to be held at the Russia National Centre, which is being established by the order of President Vladimir Putin, will be the International Science Fiction Symposium and Exhibition "Inventing the Future". The symposium will take place from November 4 to 6.
Tomorrow, the International RUSSIA EXPO will conclude its work. From November 2023 to July 2024, it was visited by more than 18 million guests.
Every day, for eight months, the RUSSIA EXPO delighted guests and gave unforgettable emotions.
