Flame of the All-Russian Family Hearth, lit at the RUSSIA EXPO, spreads around the world
In Pavilion
No. 68 "Armenia" and Pavilion No. 4 "Kyrgyzstan" at the
RUSSIA EXPO, a solemn ceremony was held to hand over the flame of the
All-Russian Family Hearth "Heart of Russia" to couples representing
friendly countries — the Republic of Armenia and the Kyrgyz Republic.
The warmth
of the All-Russian Family Hearth "Heart of Russia" was shared with
foreign families by the Russian couples who concluded their marital unions at
the RUSSIA EXPO within the framework of the All-Russian Wedding Festival and a
special project of the Exposition.
A couple
from Armenia — David Harutyunyan and Tatevik Baghdasaryan — have been married
for four years. They are artistic directors of the Krunk Armenian Folk Dance
Ensemble. David finally realized that Tatevik was his destiny at the moment
when she performed a solo dance part at an Armenian holiday instead of the girl
who could not come to the performance that day.
The lamps
with the flame of the All-Russian Family Hearth were handed over to the couple
from Armenia and their daughter by Igor and Olga Moroko from the Kursk region,
Stanislav and Anna Pichaykin from the Republic of Mordovia, as well as spouses
Alexander Kozychev and Anastasia Kondratyeva from the Lipetsk region.
In turn, a
couple from Kyrgyzstan — Turgun Abdykalykov and Toktokan Bakalbaeva with their
children - received a piece of the All-Russian Family Hearth from Maxim and
Alexandra Markovsky (Tyumen region), Samat and Syumbel Ziyatdinov (Republic of
Tatarstan), and Andrei and Maria Sivkov (Kirov region).
Each family
was given two lamps with the fire of the All-Russian Family Hearth: one will
stay with them, and the second one will be given to the pavilions of the
countries they represented.
The young
couples who got married at the RUSSIA EXPO wished the representatives of the
fraternal Republics that the piece of the "Heart of Russia" handed
over to them would become a symbol of love and family happiness and would
always keep and protect their homes. In turn, the couples who accepted the fire
of the All-Russian Family Hearth addressed the participants of the ceremony
with reciprocal words of gratitude.
"Thank
you very much to the organizers for this opportunity, our Armenian family is
very grateful, it is very pleasant and it is a great responsibility. On our
part, we would like to wish your families to have, as they say, many flowers of
joy in your life, and these are, as you understand, little beauties and
handsome boys. May everything be wonderful in your life. Smile more often and
be always attentive to each other," said David Harutyunyan.
"We
congratulate everyone on today's holiday. Family is a small cell of the state,
and let there be love and happiness in every family," Toktokan Bakalbaeva
emphasized.
A piece of
the family hearth from the RUSSIA EXPO was also handed over to the
representatives of both pavilions as a symbol of long-standing friendship and
enduring family values equally shared by the fraternal peoples of Russia,
Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.
"Thank
you for such a beautiful tradition and initiative. Our Pavilion is very pleased
to host so many newlyweds and guests, and we would like to wish you, first of
all, inexhaustible family happiness. We are very happy to be involved in such a
big and beautiful celebration and such a reverent ceremony, thank you to all
the organizers," said Armina Mamikonyan, Art Director of the
"Armenia" Pavilion.
"It is
very symbolic that on the eve of the long-awaited opening of our
"Kyrgyzstan" Pavilion after restoration, such an event took place. We
very much hope and believe that this hearth of friendship and family well-being
will be a symbol of prosperity of our countries, a symbol of their strong
friendship and that our Pavilion is dear to each of you," said Anisa
Dzheenbekova, CEO of MURAS Trade and Exhibition Centre LLC.
The
symbolic fire of the All-Russian Family Hearth "Heart of Russia" was
lit at the RUSSIA EXPO on January 23 - on this day President Vladimir Putin
announced the start of the Year of the Family. The flame for the "Heart of
Russia" came from the city of Murom, one of the oldest cities in the
country, where Pyotr and Fevronia, who became a centuries-old symbol of love
and fidelity, lived.
The warmth
of the all-Russian family hearth was spread to all regions of the country, and
the first foreign married couple to receive two "Hearts of Russia"
lamps were representatives of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ziyod and Gulbahor
Ishankhodjaev. One of the lamps will remain in the country's pavilion, and the
second one will go to the family.
