The opening of the All-Russian Assembly "Ambassadors of Victory" will be held at the National Centre RUSSIA
Volunteers from different regions of Russia will participate in the solemn opening of the All-Russian Assembly "Ambassadors of Victory," which will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA on May 6. The ceremony will mark the start of the large-scale program "Ambassadors of Victory. Moscow," which will gather 200 participants in the capital and run from May 5 to May 10. Volunteers will provide support at the Victory Parade on Red Square.
The solemn opening at the National Centre RUSSIA will feature Sergei Novikov, Head of the Presidential Directorate for Social Projects of the Russian Federation; Yegor Litvinenko, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs; Olga Zanko, Deputy Chair of the State Duma Committee on Civil Society Development and Chair of the Central Headquarters of the "Volunteers of Victory;" Yekaterina Dragunova, Chair of the Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy of the city of Moscow; Nikolai Imchuk, World War II veteran; and Andrei Mityashin, Hero of the Russian Federation.
As part of the Assembly, participants will enjoy a rich educational and cultural program. Representatives from the regions will conduct workshops on the specifics of aiding World War II veterans, restoring family histories, and organizing volunteer support for large-scale events.
Volunteers will have meetings with World War II heroes and a valuable program in which participants will accompany commemorative and festive events for Victory Day in the capital.
An important event during the Ambassadors of Victory's stay in the hero city will be their support at the Victory Parade on Red Square. Along with Moscow's Victory volunteers and other public organization representatives, Assembly participants will welcome World War II veterans, assist guests with seating in the stands, and address arising issues.
Dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and to the heroes whose feats will forever remain in the memory of generations.
