Couple from Irkutsk will get married at the RUSSIA EXPO
A couple from the Irkutsk region will get married at the International RUSSIA EXPO on November 17. The marriage ceremony will combine Buryat and Russian traditions.
Project engineer Elena Tumurova and factory worker Mark Prasolov live in the Angarsk urban district. They have been planning to reconstruct national rituals at their wedding for quite some time, but have never imagined that the whole country would be their witnesses.
The wedding will be not only romantic, but also very interesting, because it will be held with traditional elements of Russian and Buryat marriage ceremonies.
The bride will be dressed in Buryat jewelry to the accompaniment of Russian folk songs. The groom’s clothes will be decorated with scarlet satin braids with coins. Slavic wedding train and Buryat yokhor circle will lead the young people to create a strong friendly family. The wedding will be accompanied by creative groups of the Irkutsk region.
The International RUSSIA EXPO will be held in Moscow at the VDNH territory from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. Each region of the Russian Federation will present its stand, where it will introduce visitors to the key achievements in various industries. Federal authorities, representatives of large corporations, public associations and foreign countries will also take part in the exposition.
