Easter events and folklore festival. More things to enjoy at the RUSSIA EXPO on May 5
At the RUSSIA EXPO visitors will be able to celebrate the
Easter holiday in the best Russian traditions. On May 5, the Exposition will
host a folklore festival, concerts, masterclasses and other events for the
whole family.
ArtFair Youth Festival of Russian Folklore
All visitors to the Exposition will be able to immerse
themselves in the world of Russian folklore. The festival program includes
performances of choreographic, vocal and instrumental groups, including the
Russian song ensemble “Zorka Alaya” ("Scarlet Dawn"), the men's choir
of the Trinity Church of Pushkino, and the Russian song ensemble “Moskovia”. In
addition, masterclasses on arts and crafts, an exposition of national costumes
of the Peoples of Russia and an exposition-fair of products of masters of arts
and crafts will be organized.

The fair will present carved icons, table linens, delicious
Easter cakes and gingerbread, designer scarves and kitchen sets, which will give
the holiday a unique touch of warmth and heartiness. Everyone will also be able
to take part in masterclasses on painting Easter eggs and souvenirs.

Easter concert of the Patriarchal Choir of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior
The Patriarchal Choir today is the face of modern Orthodox
music. At the concert the choir will perform the best works of Russian
spiritual music, including compositions by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Kastalsky,
Alexandrov and others.

Meeting with writer Lena Sokol “Self-Realization in Life -the Way to Happiness and Success”
Lena Sokol, the heroine of the “Book Sunday” project meeting,
has written at least 35 books (New Adult, love novel, detective, fantasy,
thriller) over the last seven years, most of which are published in the largest
publishing houses of the country. She will talk about the path to creative and
professional success and how to be in tune with yourself and not be influenced
by stereotypes.

The story of Maryushka's boundless love for her betrothed,
compassion and overcoming a difficult path will be shown on stage.

Easter events at the stand of the Kurgan region
There will be a lot of thematic events at the stand of the
Kurgan region. The program includes a quest game “Following the Tracks of the
Shadrinsk Goose”, in which you can learn interesting facts about the region,
masterclasses on making a kulich Easter cake from felt and painting eggs. In
addition, the standers will tell the secrets of victory in the Easter “egg
fight”, and little visitors will be able to create their own masterpiece in the
event “Easter Painting”.

Presentation of Katya Kachur's new book “Raphael's Gene” anda meeting with the author
The dialog will open a series of meetings with the winners
and finalists of the prize “Eksmo. Debut.” Katya will talk about her new book
“Raphael's Gene”. These are stories about universal love, told through the
fates of very different characters.

Final of the All-Russian contest “Songs of Our Regiment”
The final of the All-Russian contest “Songs of Our Regiment”
is a grandiose musical event that will bring together performers from different
regions of Russia. On the Holy Resurrection of Christ there will be a concert
and award ceremony for the winners of the song contest, which will bring
together the best authors and performers of patriotic works from all over the
country.

The department of pop-jazz art under the direction of
People's Artist of Russia Larisa Dolina of the Moscow State Institute of
Culture will present a program dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth
of People's Artist of the USSR Mark Fradkin. The concert will feature the
famous songs of the great composer “I Will Take You to the Tundra”, “Near the
Village of Kryukovo”, “Accidental Waltz”. The audience will be introduced to
the life history and creative biography of Mark Fradkin.

The event
is organized by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and
the Arctic, with support from Norilsk Nickel PJSC and the Rosatom State
Corporation.
