Songs of unity, friendship and mutual understanding: Turetsky Choir and SOPRANO drew a full house at the RUSSIA EXPO
The RUSSIA
EXPO hosted a concert of the Turetsky Choir and the SOPRANO. Art groups - the
ensembles presented an updated program "Songs of Victory" and drew a
full house - the hall could hardly accommodate hundreds of guests who gathered
to listen to the songs-symbols of the great victory: "Smuglyanka",
"Katyusha", "Long Way," "Three Tankman" and other
works known to everyone since childhood.
"Today at the RUSSIA EXPO we are presenting a new season of the project "Songs of Victory" - these are songs of unity, friendship and mutual understanding," Mikhail Turetsky, founder and producer of the Turetsky Choir art group and the SOPRANO women's musical group, People's Artist of Russia, addressed the guests of the RUSSIA EXPO.
Turetsky Choir organized the project "Songs of Victory" for the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War in 2015. The artists annually conduct foreign tours, where they perform Russian songs, thus strengthening the friendship of peoples and promoting Russian culture abroad. In total, during the project's lifetime, "Songs of Victory" has been performed 99 times in 45 countries and has attracted more than 9.5 million spectators. The project was organized with the support of the Moscow Government and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
One of the leading roles in the production was performed by Bolshoi Theatre prima ballerina Kristina Kretova.
The "Morozko" performance is designed for audiences of all ages and will be engaging for children, grandparents, mothers, and fathers alike.
