"Heroes of the Russian Cinema Space": stand-up lecture
Hollywood masters of cinema Stanley Kubrick, George Lucas,
Roger Corman often name Russian directors Pavel Klushantsev and Richard
Viktorov among their teachers. Their
films are studied in most film academies of the world, but the secrets of their
movie tricks have not been fully unraveled yet. Paradoxically, before the
advent of "Star Wars", Soviet cinema had seriously overtaken
Hollywood in terms of movie stunts. The success of Soviet sci-fi films was so
great that in the 60's in the United States they were released in theaters
under the guise of Hollywood movies.
The stand-up lecture will introduce the secrets of Soviet
cinema, talk about the directors who tried to create the Russian school of
sci-fi cinema and whose amazing movie tricks are still used in world genre
cinema.
