Monday is maintenance day at the National Centre RUSSIA
Due to scheduled maintenance work, the National Centre RUSSIA will be closed to visitors on Monday, 10 August. This helps ensure visitor safety and a high standard of service across all areas of the venue. The National Centre RUSSIA will reopen on 11 August.
When the Centre reopens, visitors will be able to explore the permanent "Journey Across Russia" exposition, as well as the "Legacy. Theatre. The Greats" exposition marking the 150th anniversary of the Union of Theatre Workers of Russia. Launched on 28 July, the project reveals behind-the-scenes secrets of how productions are created, introduces visitors to outstanding figures of the stage and shares little-known facts from the history of Russian theatre. Admission is free. Advance registration on the russia.ru website is required for a guided tour. Visitors can also use an audio guide created especially for the exposition and recorded by Russian theatre artists.
At the National Centre RUSSIA, visitors can discover regional cuisine at the Gastronomic Rows and visit the Department Store RUSSIA, featuring products from local manufacturers and traditional arts and crafts. All expositions and events at the National Centre RUSSIA are free of charge. Advance registration is required for some events — check the Events section on the russia.ru website and the Centre's social media accounts.
