No. 34 "Space and Aviation Center" is a must-see at the RUSSIA EXPO.
There, the free exposition "Russian Space: Creating the Future" is
available for the RUSSIA EXPO guests; you will have to enter from the back side
of the building. Unique exhibits and VR-attractions, "Gagarin's
Capsule" and a friendly alien are waiting for guests. And every Saturday
at the exposition there are meetings with cosmonauts.
One of the
most interesting areas of the exposition is the interactive demonstrator of the
Mission Control Center. Guests can see how the International Space Station
works, watch missions and even follow the launch of carrier rockets live.
There is an
educational zone for children. Quests and quizzes, masterclasses and even an
express course "Become a Cosmonaut" are waiting for all those who are
ready to join the "Young Cosmonauts Squad". The kids can also chat
with an alien using an interactive screen and learn a lot of interesting things
about the Universe. Moreover, young guests will surely like the photo zone
"Gagarin's Capsule", and adults can also take memorable pictures.
And all those who are interested in space will probably enjoy looking at the samples of aircraft and space equipment, defence-industrial enterprises — there are more than a hundred exhibits. You can also study rare archival materials: photos, documents and videos, buy space souvenirs.
Besides, every Saturday at the exposition there are traditional meetings with cosmonauts. The guests can talk to the real heroes of our country and ask questions about ISS flights and cosmonaut training.
