Our dear guests: Ambassador of Uzbekistan visited the National Centre RUSSIA
On 9 April, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of
the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation, Botirjon Asadov, visited
the National Centre RUSSIA. The visit took place ahead of the International
Industrial Trade Fair "INNOPROM. Central Asia", which will be held
from 20 to 22 April in Tashkent, and marked an important step in strengthening
cultural and economic dialogue between the two countries.
Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA Natalia
Virtuozova personally guided the distinguished guest through the key
expositions of the venue. The delegation visited the main exposition
"Journey Across Russia", which introduces visitors to the cultural
diversity and achievements of the country’s regions through a variety of formats,
as well as the recently opened exposition "Geography Lessons",
dedicated to the thousand-year history of Russia’s spatial development.
"For us, it is essential that the space of the National
Centre RUSSIA does not stand still. It will live, evolve, and transform
together with the ideas that are born here. We are always glad to welcome our
friends from Uzbekistan," said Natalia Virtuozova.
Before the tour, Botirjon Asadov was shown a video about the
new building of the National Centre RUSSIA, the construction of which was
launched on 26 March by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir
Putin. Speaking about the concept of the future space, Natalia Virtuozova noted
that its key mission is to become a symbol of modern Russia, reflecting its
creative potential, multinational culture, and commitment to innovation.
Botirjon Asadov noted the scale and depth of the expositions
at the National Centre RUSSIA. He has visited more than 70 regions of Russia,
including Lake Baikal, and has become acquainted with numerous Russian
industrial enterprises.
The distinguished guest also explored goods by domestic manufacturers presented at the Department Store RUSSIA. This flagship project of the National Centre RUSSIA will be showcased at the International Industrial Trade Fair "INNOPROM. Central Asia".
The International Industrial Trade Fair "INNOPROM.
Central Asia" in Tashkent will be the first international event for the
National Centre RUSSIA. The Department Store stand will allow international
audiences to discover the diversity of Russian brands and regional products
that reflect the country’s rich cultural legacy.
The Department Store exposition will feature symbolic design
elements: window shutters and a tiled roof made of natural materials,
referencing the image of the merchant class as a symbol of the unity of
cultures and peoples. Decorative elements and national ornaments are intended
to emphasise respect for tradition and the mutual influence of the cultures of
Russia and Uzbekistan.
In addition, the National Centre RUSSIA will act as a
partner of the panel discussion "Dialogue of Generations: Tradition as a
Fashion Trend". Participants will discuss how cultural identity influences
product competitiveness, what export potential traditional goods have, and how they
can be used to build international dialogue.
In total, representatives from 35 countries will take part
in the International Industrial Trade Fair "INNOPROM. Central Asia",
making it one of the key events of the year in the field of international industrial
