The National Centre RUSSIA in Primorye is supporting the organisation of the "Fish Market", which will open on "Far East Street" for guests of the Eastern Economic Forum in September. A team of chefs from Primorye will showcase the diverse cuisine of Russia's eastern regions. Guests of "Far East Street" will be able to try more than 30 dishes, including salads, appetisers, main courses and desserts.

The presence of national cuisine at the "Far East Street" exposition highlights the region's openness and respect for culture and traditions, while showcasing the unique multinational identity of the entire Russian Far East.

The "Fish Market" will be located next to the pavilion of the Primorye Territory. It is a modern food court with mobile stalls where visitors will be able to sample dishes created by culinary experts and appreciate the variety of the menu.

Every EEF guest will be able to try Far Eastern fish soup and the Fisherman's Appetiser, sample fish dumplings and flounder prepared in various ways, or choose fern shoots, shrimp or squid as an appetiser. The cuisine of the peoples of Chukotka, based primarily on fish and venison, will also impress visitors. The menu includes venison borscht, merchant-style porridge with venison and venison dumplings. The table will also feature gifts from the taiga: Primorye taiga honey, pine cone jam, tea and fruit drinks made with taiga herbs and berries.

"Far Eastern cuisine reflects our way of life, our pride and our image. Around 20 gastronomic festivals are held in the region every year, where chefs prepare dishes using local ingredients. The 'Fish Market' is based on long-standing traditions, local dishes, produce provided by the sea and the taiga, and the creativity of our chefs. This year is the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, which has naturally also been reflected in the menu. I am confident that this market will appeal to all visitors to the exposition," emphasised the Director of the Primorye Territory Regional Tourist Information Centre, Olga Gurevich.

The XI Eastern Economic Forum will be held from 1 to 4 September at the Far Eastern Federal University campus in Vladivostok. During these dates, the exposition will be open to forum participants. On 5, 6 and 7 September, it will open to the general public. EEF 2026 is organised by the Roscongress Foundation. The "Fish Market" is operated by the Primorye Territory Tourist Information Centre (Visit Primorye).
