Truth and consistency: famous video bloggers shared the secrets of successful content at the VK Video forum at the National Centre RUSSIA in Krasnoyarsk
"Evening Brunch for Creators" was held at the National Centre RUSSIA in the Krasnoyarsk Territory as part of the VK Video forum. The event was hosted by blogger Natalia Gasankhanova.
Famous video bloggers Ilya Sobolev, Denis Kukoyaka, Dimas Blog and Anya Ishchuk told young aspiring creators and representatives of new media about developing content and working with new formats.
Ilya Sobolev advised them not to be afraid to try different formats. According to Ilya Sobolev, a video that you did not even count on can often become popular.
"For me, the main thing is for people to laugh through my content. However, lifestyle content, for example, does not work for me. So I decided a long time ago that my task is to make funny videos. The main thing is to find your own organic style and determine what you do best. To do that, you need to try," the TV presenter and stand-up comedian shared.
Video blogger Denis Kukoyaka noted that the most important thing is to make videos sincerely and from the heart.
"Always do it the way you like it. If you like it, then the video will work. The main thing is not to adapt yourself to someone else. I think many people now simply want to watch real people. When you show the truth, the audience reads it immediately. For me, the main things are truth and consistency," Denis Kukoyaka said.
Dimas Blog, in turn, expressed the view that it is important to keep to a video release schedule, because people get used to it and it is a kind of respect for your subscribers. In addition, a regular release time affects how a video starts performing at the initial stage.
"If you are building consistency in your content or implementing a large project, it is important to release it at the same time. The viewer gets used to it. If the first episode works, people will wait for the second one. That is why the audience may feel disappointed if the episode does not appear on time. Consistency is important, especially for large projects," the video blogger emphasised.
During the meeting, listeners asked questions of interest to them and discussed what content audiences are interested in today and whether it is acceptable to borrow someone else’s format at the start.
