During the Russian Science Day at the National Centre RUSSIA, young scientists showcased their inclusion-related projects to investors. Experts assessed the economic potential of the inventions and initiatives, as well as discussed charitable projects with their creators.

Four projects were presented at the event: the VR simulator "Sledge Hockey 'Challenge'," the interactive clothing line "Playing Together" featuring educational games for children, a prosthetic trainer for rehabilitating individuals with muscle activity impairments, and the project "Crystal Puzzles" for children with autism spectrum disorders. The latter was introduced by Daria Kosalapova, a postgraduate student at the National Research University BelSU. The project aims to facilitate the social integration of children with autism spectrum disorders through figure skating.

"Figure skating is a sport that requires complex coordination. Regular training helps improve interhemispheric connections, influences speech development, and significantly enhances social interaction," explained the project’s author.

Experts recognized the most original project as the initiative to create clothing with interactive educational games for children, called "Playing Together," which currently has no global equivalents. Its creator is Adilya Nazyrova, a resident at Patrice Lumumba Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia.

The team from the Digital Humanities laboratory at Siberian Federal University presented a development that combines virtual reality technology with one of the country’s most popular sports. The VR simulator "Sledge Hockey 'Challenge'" allows for adaptive sports training for people with disabilities, as well as for patients undergoing rehabilitation after injuries and surgeries.

Investors also highly praised the project by Artem Meinov, a postgraduate student from the Faculty of Software Engineering and Computer Technology at ITMO University, who developed a prosthetic trainer for rehabilitating individuals with muscle activity impairments.
