Applications for the III All-Russian Wedding Festival at the National Centre RUSSIA extended until 29 May
At the request of numerous couples in love, the National Centre RUSSIA announces that the application deadline for participation in the III All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts", which will be held on 8 and 9 July, has been extended. More than 100 couples from different regions of the country have already joined the celebration of love and family values. Applications can be submitted on our website until 29 May inclusive.
"Russia is love, and the increased interest in our wedding festival from couples across the country confirms this. That is why we have decided to extend the application period for another week. We see how future newlyweds take pride in the legacy of their people and their country, and honour family customs. Many of them take part in volunteer campaigns, and this is also a wonderful tradition that brings people together. It is especially touching that couples from previous festivals will come to us: they want to share their joy with the new participants. And those who have already submitted applications emphasise that this is a unique event and dream of celebrating this occasion with the whole country. This creates a special atmosphere of continuity and unity. Our festival is for those who choose love, family and a shared future. And we invite couples in love to unite their destinies at the National Centre RUSSIA. Make sure you become part of this bright celebration!" said Deputy Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA Anastasia Zvyagina.
One of the conditions for participation in the festival is the use of elements of national costumes in the wedding look. The event will bring together couples from all federal districts of the country, with representatives of different ages and professions becoming part of a large-scale celebration that demonstrates Russia’s unity and diversity.
Among those wishing to take part are teachers, doctors, entrepreneurs, military personnel, construction workers and many others. The festival’s distinctive feature is its multinational character. The participants include couples representing different ethnic groups, including the indigenous small-numbered peoples of Russia. The participants speak different languages, but they are united by a common desire to preserve and pass on the rich family traditions of their ancestors to future generations.
On the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, 8 July, the main event will be a simultaneous wedding ceremony for couples in love from across the country. The event will be adorned by the passing of the flame of the all-Russian family hearth "Heart of Russia". The newlyweds will receive from couples who married at previous festivals a particle of the flame from Murom, where the holy patrons of marriage, Peter and Fevronia, lived. On the second day, educational lectures and a gastronomic programme will be held for the newlyweds, as well as for their guests and everyone interested in wedding themes.
The festival is organised by the National Centre RUSSIA together with the Moscow Government and the Moscow Civil Registry Office. The event was first held in 2024 as part of the International RUSSIA EXPO, where 221 couples entered into marriage. In 2025, the event was held at the National Centre RUSSIA, where 206 more families were created. The festival has become an annual event and will be held on the feast day of Saints Peter and Fevronia.
