Applications extended for the All-Russian Award "More Than a Trip"
Following numerous requests from prospective participants, the application deadline for the All-Russian Award "More Than a Trip" has been extended until 31 July, inclusive. The additional time will allow applicants to further refine their project presentations, while those who had postponed registering will still have the opportunity to take part. The award ceremony will be held at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The "More Than a Trip" Award is the first award in Russia to recognise and celebrate individuals and organisations that create or promote meaningful journeys across the country, inspiring people to discover Russia through travel. The award is organised by the "More Than a Trip" programme of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), implemented as part of the national project "Youth and Children".
Applications are being accepted through the award's official website in eight main categories:
— "More Than a Tour" — for projects implemented by specialised organisations that combine tourism with educational and socially beneficial components;
— "More Than an Excursion" — for guides or excursions that reveal the cultural and educational value of travelling across Russia's regions and foster a sense of pride in the Motherland;
— "More Than a Hike" — for hiking routes, organisations or professionals promoting hiking and outdoor activities across Russia;
— "More Than a Service" — for hospitality infrastructure, including hotels, restaurants, co-working spaces, ticket-booking services, guidebooks and other travel services;
— "More Than a Place of Power" — for destinations and events that showcase Russia's tourism potential through memorable experiences;
— "More Than Media" — for bloggers and content creators producing media about Russia's tourism potential and the culture of patriotic travel;
— "More Than a Region" — for regional executive authorities responsible for youth policy and tourism that systematically promote youth tourism in their regions;
— "More Than a Traveller" — for inspiring personal stories from people across Russia about how travelling around the country changed their lives and their perception of the Motherland.
The outdoor exposition "Beyond the Edge of the Map" in the Ryazan Region has been extended.
The central theme of this year's celebration, "The Energy of the Future", is dedicated to young people who are already shaping Russia's future by advancing technology, science, culture, media and public initiatives.
