The path of Russian cosmonautics from the idea of flight to the Angara rocket - in one excursion at the RUSSIA EXPO
The excursion "Conquerors of Space" at the RUSSIA EXPO will tell about the people who managed to bring the country to the forefront of the space industry. You can take part in the excursion route in Pavilion M daily at 16:40. Pre-registration is required on the Exposition website.
The first stop will be the museum-apartment of Sergei Korolev, an outstanding designer and scientist, the founder of practical cosmonautics. Here the guests will be able to learn how the ideas of launching the first artificial satellite and the first human space flight were born and put into practice.
Then the visitors to the RUSSIA EXPO will be taken on a fascinating journey through the regions of Russia with a description of the contribution to the development of the space industry of each of them. The guides will tell about key scientific centers, research institutes and enterprises located in different parts of the country.
And finally, the last part of the program will be a visit to the "Cosmonautics and Aviation" center at VDNH - the largest thematic museum in Russia. In its exposition the participants will be able to study in detail, for example, models of the Mir orbital station and Angara launch vehicle.

The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Throughout the Exposition, cultural events, a rich business and educational program await the guests. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 10 million people have already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place at VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
