Sber teaches how to solve a real cybercrime and detect deepfakes
How to
prevent the leakage of your personal data, to calculate your own digital
footprint and not to fall for the tricks of scammers - this and much more is
taught in the Sber pavilion at the International RUSSIA EXPO. It is one of the
first to welcome visitors to the VDNH.
Here you
can learn safe behavior in the digital space, and for this you will have to
pass several tasks. It is especially interesting to solve a true cybercrime,
which is based on a real case of stealing personal data of clients of a large
company. According to the story, the attacker sold information about 100
thousand people.
"The
main thing here is to reason logically, well, and have some understanding of
technology. The questions are not very difficult. But I made a mistake once. If
you answer incorrectly, the case is delayed and the criminal has the
opportunity to steal more data. It was very embarrassing when I caused more
people to get hurt," - said Andrei Bokov, one of the visitors.
And to
avoid becoming a victim of cybercriminals in real life, you can take a few
educational tests. At the Sber pavilion they also teach you how to recognize
deepfakes - images, audio and video recordings made with the help of artificial
intelligence. This is necessary in order not to be deceived by fraudsters and
some media. They talk about it in detail and offer to choose one generated
image from four images of people.
"At
first glance, it's easy. But to my shame I chose a real person. And he just had
unusual facial features. Deepfake, however, is given away by the wrong
placement of shadows, strange facial expressions, twitching," - shared the
advice Maria Zhukina.
Remember that visitors can earn points for participation in activities, which are exchanged for various souvenirs before leaving. The more points - the wider the choice.
