On June 26 in Moscow the head of the Republic of Mordovia Artem Zdunov and the director general of ANO "XXI Century Achievements Expo Management" Natalia Virtuozova met to discuss the design of the regional exposition.

The show stand of the republic arranged for the International RUSSIA EXPO will represent all the ethnic and cultural diversity of Mordovia, the achievements in science, industry and social area.

"Our mission is to tell about the region in such a way so the guests of the exposition will definitely want to visit our republic! The real treasure of Mordovia is its people", — stated the head.

The Republic of Mordovia is famous for its folk crafts and natural resources. Every year the region becomes the prize-winner at the annual contest "The most comfortable town of Russia" and its towns are included into the list of the most environmentally friendly towns of the country.

The largest Orthodox cathedral of the Volga region, the Cathedral of the Holy Righteous warrior F. Ushakov, is located here as well as the Mordovian Republican museum of fine arts with its richest collection of works created by sculptor S. Erzi.
