The Republic of Tuva is preparing its stand for the exposition
The pavilion of the Republic of Tuva will organize an exposition called «80 Years on Guard of the Motherland» dedicated to the republic’s participation in the Great Patriotic War.
In addition to the traditional presentation of the region, the exposition will include rare documents, photographs and clothes of soldiers of the Great Patriotic War, as well as documents from 1944 on the entry of the Tuva People’s Republic into the USSR.
"This exposition will show unique evidence of that time. In particular, there will be photos and documents of commanders of the Tuvan People’s Revolutionary Army, documents and photos of Tuvan volunteers", — said Svetlana Tulush, deputy director for scientific and methodological work of the Aldan-Maadyr National Museum of the Tuva Republic.
However, the main concept of Tuva’s stand is the interrelation of the republic’s traditional culture with the culture of nomadic tribes. The exposition will feature Tuvan dwellings, national clothing, attributes of shamanism and Buddhism.
