Luxury in chocolate: premium sweets from the northern capital at the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA
The Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA presents the confectionery factory Purpur from St Petersburg. The brand’s mission is not only to create premium treats but also to preserve the country’s cultural code through symbols and traditions.
"For our factory it is a great honour to be showcased at the National Centre RUSSIA, as we also support the idea of preserving Russian legacy. For example, in our packaging design we widely use the country’s most recognisable symbols such as the bear, the samovar, the matryoshka doll, the accordion, the balalaika, and the troika of horses. And the luxurious golden embossing refers back to the tsar era," said Valentina Zaitseva, Key Account Manager of the Purpur confectionery factory.
Purpur has existed for ten years and specialises in premium handmade chocolate products. Its original recipes are based exclusively on natural ingredients: real chocolate without palm oil and GMOs, with berry, nut and other fillings. The assortment includes more than 200 items, including truffles, marshmallows, chocolate by weight, marzipan and fruit bars, cream desserts, as well as a special sugar-free line available for customers with diabetes.
At the Department Store RUSSIA, visitors will find chocolates dedicated to the majestic city of St Petersburg: truffle, chocolate and assorted sets.
The quality of Purpur products is confirmed by numerous awards: the factory has repeatedly received gold medals at food expositions, and its production facilities have been visited by representatives of the regional administration as well as foreign delegations.
The Department Store RUSSIA is a unique space that brings together goods and products from more than 160 manufacturers across 60 regions of the country. The project was launched on 4 November 2024 as a continuation of the Department Store space of the International RUSSIA EXPO. In 2025, branches of the Department Store are planned to open in other regions of the country.
