President of Russia Vladimir Putin has invited foreign scientists to collaborate, emphasizing that the future of technology and investment in this field depends on the consolidation of knowledge, expertise, and capabilities of countries worldwide.

"We will continue to facilitate the unification of efforts by researchers and engineers from Eastern and Southern countries to address large-scale experimental, theoretical, and, of course, practical challenges," Vladimir Putin stated at the plenary session of the FutureTechnologies Forum.

According to the President of Russia, BRICS "is essentially a platform for global-level socio-economic and technological development." And this process will continue to expand.

Vladimir Putin also stressed that Russia does not intend to create barriers to cooperation with Western scientists. He noted that the country will continue to unite the efforts of researchers and engineers from various nations to tackle large-scale experimental, theoretical, and practical tasks.

As part of the upcoming Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth," scheduled for April, investments in technology have been designated as a separate thematic focus. This event will serve as a practical implementation of the President’s call for international cooperation in the scientific and technological sphere. Leading global experts have already expressed their interest in participating.

At the same time, anyone can submit their vision of the future of technology in the format of an essay by sending it to the National Centre RUSSIA via the provided link or by email at dialog@russia.ru.

The authors of the best essays will present their work in person during the Open Dialogue’s program in Moscow at the National Centre RUSSIA from April 28 to 30.

Submissions are accepted until March 15.
