"Russia — Land of Opportunity" launched registration for the second hackathon of the special project "First Neurocontent Cup"
The presidential platform "Russia — Land of Opportunity", together with the Internet Development Institute, the National Centre RUSSIA and ANO "Artificial Intelligence Technology Development", has opened registration for the second hackathon of the special project "First Neurocontent Cup". The event will take place on 8 October as part of the II International Symposium "Inventing the Future". The project aims to support specialists who create relevant content about the country’s achievements using neural networks. Applications are open until 30 September.
The "First Neurocontent Cup" is a competition where participants create media content using neural networks and other AI tools. The project brings together specialists from various fields (designers, developers, content managers, scriptwriters, copywriters, video makers, motion designers, AI creators and others), helping them present themselves at the federal level and creating a unique space for creative experimentation.
"In the application campaign for the 'First Neurocontent Cup', there were many applicants, but the number of participants was limited. That is why, in the Cyberhouse, we announced that we would hold a second competition where even more teams could demonstrate their skills in AI generation. I invite everyone to take part in the second hackathon, which will be held at the National Centre RUSSIA," said Gennady Guryanov, First Deputy Director General of the presidential platform "Russia — Land of Opportunity".
In the first hackathon, creative teams competed in producing videos with AI and solved cases on the topics: "The Large Happy Family of the Future", "Russia — A Modern Comfortable Country for Living", and "Russia in Space: Stations and Settlements". At every stage of the Cup, participants were evaluated on the speed and quality of their content.
"The theme of the future has been one of the key issues in recent years; society has a strong demand to discuss where we are heading. That is why it must be understood and shaped, including through content. At the Internet Development Institute, we have long awaited projects that, in one way or another, model the future of the country. They are appearing, but we would like to see more talented stories on this theme. And for projects to truly resonate with audiences, technology alone is not enough, though it is also important and allows experimentation with formats and presentation. In AI-generated content, the main element remains the human — the author of the idea, the task, the prompt. Without this, content will not be engaging. This means that the demand for authors, scriptwriters, designers and other creative specialists who can work at the intersection of technology and human talent will be high," added Alexei Goreslavsky, Director General of the Internet Development Institute.
The second hackathon of the special project will be held on 8 October at the National Centre RUSSIA as part of the II International Symposium "Inventing the Future" and promises to be even larger in scale.
The theme of the participants’ works will remain "Russia of the future is…". Participants who pass the selection will take part in an exciting team competition in producing videos with neural networks, where each team will be able to demonstrate its ability to create fast and high-quality content, as well as its level of competence. The best team will receive a contract with ANO "Artificial Intelligence Technology Development" for the production of socially significant content worth 500,000 roubles. Finalists will also receive training under the professional development programme of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation "New Media Leaders Development Programme".
Anyone aged 16 and over with basic skills in working with neural networks and video editing, as well as knowledge of special software and proven media experience (portfolio required), can participate in the project. Registration is open via the link until 30 September.
At the Department Store RUSSIA, visitors will find chocolates dedicated to the majestic city of St Petersburg.
Anyone who comes to the centre can see and learn about the region’s unique inhabitants.
The meeting’s programme included discussions of the project’s key areas of work in Vladivostok.
