Yamal fish, truffle salami and lavender honey: a unique gastronomic experience at the RUSSIA EXPO
From March
13 to 18 at the Farmers Fair in Pavilion No. 48, an array of delicious meat and
fish products, craft cheeses and a real paradise for sweet tooth awaits guests.
The geography of participants is as wide as ever: from the Yamalo-Nenets
Autonomous Area to the Moscow region.
This week
you can try and buy unique sausages from the Leningrad, Moscow and Volgograd
regions. The assortment includes both classic sausage according to GOST 1976
and exquisite naturally ripened raw sausage with truffle or spicy paprika, as
well as naturally ripened raw sausage made of deer meat.
For those
who want to taste "wild" meat, there are real organic delicacies from
elk, venison, beaver, wild boar, bear, grouse, wild goose and duck, partridge,
roe deer, Siberian stag, quail, hazel grouse, pheasant, rabbit, hare and
ostrich, as well as horse meat and lamb.
Fish lovers
are in for an equally great treat. The Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area will once
again present its products. The water resources of Yamal are unique in their
food base for fish. That is why it has the purest tender meat and unique
flavor. And the 100% handmade method of cooking makes the fish taste
unforgettable. The guests will be able to taste and buy broad whitefish, cisco
whitefish, humpback whitefish, peled, smelt and vendace. There are dried,
salted, cold and hot natural smoking fish without coloring and preservatives.
Of course,
the Farmers Fair cannot do without honey products. This time the guests can appreciate the
unique honey from lavender fields in the Orel region.
In addition
to lavender honey, you can try honey with sea buckthorn, cranberries,
blueberries, as well as herbal teas from lavender, sage, mint, oregano, melissa,
calendula, other herbs and berries.
Meanwhile,
the Arkhangelsk region brought to the fair marmalade from wild berries, which
are collected in the northernmost parts of the region, on the coast of the
White Sea. Berries grown in the North contain more vitamins and microelements
than berries from more southern regions. Here the summer is short, and the
berry ripens in very difficult conditions. Therefore, it accumulates the
maximum amount of useful substances, which are preserved during the creation of
sweets.
Let us remind you that a variety of cheeses and dairy products are also available at the fair. And the guests of the RUSSIA EXPO can get there quickly and comfortably by free bus: from the arch of the northern entrance (Pavilion 75) to Pavilion 48. Schedule: from 10:00 to 13:00, from 14:00 to 20:00. Traffic interval: every 15 minutes.
