The Tula
region presented a wide range of goods produced in the region. Tula accordion,
traditional samovars and delicious sweets can be found in the Department Store
space in Pavilion No. 75 at the RUSSIA EXPO.
There are
also interesting novelties from local producers in the Department Store space.
For example, designer bags made of craft paper from Daria Shangaleeva - one of
the most fashionable and unusual accessories of the last year.
"We've
had a very successful start within the framework of import substitution of
cosmetics: it has already proven itself to female customers, being eco-friendly
and useful products. There are also SPA-cosmetics, bath bombs, batters,
glitters - you can't list everything. You need to visit, look and choose
according to your taste", - said the head of the project Made in Tula
Region Yulia Shlyakhova.
Employees
of the Stamp machine building plant, the only serial manufacturer of samovars
in Russia, told about the process of creating their goods. Since the second
half of the 19th century, Tula has taken the first place in the country in the
production of water heaters, and since then has rightfully held the title of
"Samovar Capital". Also, aroma candles with different memorable
fragrances were produced especially for the Exposition.
Besides, there was a tasting of the famous Belev pastila according to traditional recipes. And gingerbread craftsmen showed how to mold and stamp out Tula gingerbread at a workshop.
It should be reminded that at the RUSSIA EXPO Tula confectioners has also presented the largest map of the Tula region made of Belyov pastila. This is a real world record.
