Seventh season of "Adventure Horizon" presented at the Primorye branch of the National Centre RUSSIA
On 2 October, at the Primorye branch of the National Centre
RUSSIA, the Red Media TV company presented the seventh season of the programme
"Adventure Horizon", filmed in Primorye, as well as the multiplatform
project "Tochka.rf", and also donated 50 camera traps to the
administration of the "Land of the Leopard" nature reserves. Red
Media will become a guardian of one of the Far Eastern leopards and will choose
a name for it.
The programme "Adventure Horizon", aired on the TV
channel "Tochka.rf" (produced by Red Media), introduces viewers to
unique tourist routes across Russia. The seventh season was filmed this summer
in the Primorye region with the support of the regional Tourist Information
Centre (Visit Primorye). A significant part of the filming took place in the
reserves and national park of the "Land of the Leopard" federal
institution.
Irina Dorogan, General Producer of thematic channels at Red
Media, admitted: "We are captivated by Vladivostok and your region. What
we have seen in these days has stayed in our hearts. We are very happy that the
new season was filmed here."
She expressed the hope that viewers, after watching the
seventh season, will be inspired to travel to Primorye.
Stanislav Rumyantsev, the host of the programme, shared his
impressions of the filming: "In Primorye we were in a submarine, tried
surfing, rode ATVs through protected areas, visited the Leopard Cave, and went
diving. The most vivid impressions came from the aquarium and the meeting with
Misha the walrus and the penguins. And, of course, the seafood — I will miss it
constantly now."
Representatives of Red Media handed over 50 camera traps to
the "Land of the Leopard" administration as part of the company’s
annual environmental initiative, launched in 2021. This eco-project grew out of
the "Adventure Horizon" series, episodes of which are also filmed in
protected areas of the regions.
"When we were filming the first seasons, we realised
how important the scientific work of the reserve staff was and how passionate
they are about their mission. We wanted to support them, and that is how our
environmental initiative was born. Today 'Land of the Leopard' has joined
it," said Konstantin Shumilo, Deputy Director of the Marketing Department
of Red Media.
Maria Okulova, Deputy Director for Environmental Education
at "Land of the Leopard", admitted that the equipment arrived just in
time.
"Just a week before learning of your initiative, we
were discussing the need to replace our camera traps. And then came the news
that you were ready to donate them. This is wonderful! Thanks to such systems,
we will not only be able to conduct monitoring but also share unique footage
with a wide audience," she stressed.
In response, Maria Okulova suggested that Red Media staff
become guardians of one of the Far Eastern leopards and give it a name. The TV
company’s employees gladly agreed.
The Ministry of Tourism and the Tourist Information Centre
of the region are eager to support journalists in promoting the region’s
tourism potential.
"We are glad that in the summer we were able to give
our colleagues a worthy introduction to the region," said Natalia
Naboychenko, Minister of Tourism of the Primorye region.
She emphasised that not only the south but also the north of
the region is rich in unique nature, and invited the TV company to return and
film the next season in its northern part.
Philipp Shutov, Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Primorye
region, supported Natalia Naboychenko and added that real taiga awaits guests
in the north of Primorye. "There are no leopards there, but you can
encounter tigers. We will gladly arrange for you to visit places that are no
less fascinating," he said.
Red Media also presented the multimedia platform Tochka.rf,
which includes the TV channel of the same name and a mobile application.
"The new website tochka.rf is already live, along with
a mobile app that allows anyone to plan their journey. Its key feature is that
it can work without the internet," shared Konstantin Shumilo.
The seventh season of the programme "Adventure
Horizon", filmed in the Primorye region, will premiere on the Tochka.rf
channel on 14 October at 19:00.
The event brought together 1,000 homeroom teachers and curators of secondary vocational education groups from 89 regions of the country and the city of Baikonur at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow.
From 7 to 12 October, the National Centre RUSSIA will host the themed week of the Chelyabinsk region as part of the exposition "Region-2030. Platform of the Future".
On 3 October, we mark the 130th anniversary of the birth of Sergei Yesenin — the poet who became the true voice of the Russian soul.
