A solemn award ceremony was held in Pavilion No. 57 to present awards to the winners and runners-up of the All-Russian essay contest and the festival of museum expositions of educational organizations "Without Statute of Limitations". Sergei Kravtsov, Acting Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, took part in the event.

"Traditionally, on the eve of Victory Day we summarize the results of the two largest events of the ‘Without Statute of Limitations’ project: the essay contest and the festival of museum expositions. This year more than 500 thousand schoolchildren submitted their essays on the topic of the genocide of the Soviet people by the Nazis and their accomplices during the Great Patriotic War. I am sure that a worthy generation is growing up in Russia, capable of preserving the values that the soldiers of the Red Army defended. The works of the participants help in preserving the historical memory. Good luck to you, dear schoolchildren and teachers," said Sergei Kravtsov.

The winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian essay contest "Without Statute of Limitations" were 58 schoolchildren and college students. 40 children were recognized as winners, 14 works were awarded in special nominations.

During the event, the acting head of the Ministry of Education of Russia presented awards to the absolute winners of the contest. They were Ilya Lagutin from Kursk region, Ekaterina Mulkakhainen from St. Petersburg, Anna Zaripova from Donetsk People's Republic and Anastasia Sigacheva from the Ulyanovsk region. Sergei Kravtsov also read to the participants of the ceremony fragments of essays by Anna Zaripova and Danil Prysyazhny, the winner in the nomination "For Demonstrated Knowledge of the History of the Great Patriotic War".

Olga Kazakova, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education, noted the importance of projects aimed at patriotic education of children and youth.

"In kindergartens, schools, colleges and technical schools, various campaigns and patriotic events are regularly held for children, museums are created to preserve the memory of the Great Patriotic War. Today the most important state task is to bring up our children to be strong and self-confident, worthy descendants of the winners, to give them the necessary knowledge to withstand information attacks, to preserve traditional values and the link between generations. The children themselves are actively involved in this work — they design expositions of school museums and tell stories about heroes," said Olga Kazakova, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education.

42 museums of educational institutions: schools, colleges and universities, as well as organizations of supplementary education won prizes at the All-Russian festival of museum expositions of educational organizations “Without Statute of Limitations". A total of 759 museum expositions, exhibitions and virtual museums were presented at the festival.

"During the years that our university is a federal operator of the "Without Statute of Limitations" project, we have learned a lot for ourselves. The project is directed not only to the past, but also to the future, and we are updating its content, opening new directions. But first of all, we are opening you, our dear contestants. It is very important for any teacher to pass on not just knowledge, but also the innermost things that are stored in them — a piece of truth, understanding of our Motherland, our history and culture," said the Rector of Moscow State Pedagogical University Alexei Lubkov.

The absolute winners of the All-Russian festival of museum expositions of educational organizations "Without Statute of Limitations" were:

 Ecological and Biological Center of the city of Votkinsk, Udmurt Republic (exposition "Death Quarry");

 Gymnasium No. 166 of the Central District of St. Petersburg (exposition "School. War. Blockade");

 Secondary General Education School of Romanovo settlement, Kaliningrad region (exposition "Let's Prevent Genocide!");

 The remedial boarding school in the town of Katav-Ivanovsk, Chelyabinsk region (exposition "It is Impossible to Forget").

During the ceremony, the Acting Minister of Education of the Russian Federation also honored the children whose creative works most fully reflected the main goal of the "No Statute of Limitations" project — the preservation of historical memory of the tragedy of the civilian population of the USSR — the victims of war crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices during the Great Patriotic War. They were 14 schoolchildren who received an invitation to the Victory Parade on May 9 on Red Square.
