Newlyweds
of the II All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Connecting Hearts"
Sergei Kukartsev and Anastasia Zagryadskaya from the Tomsk region have won in
the category "In Love with Business and Each Other". The sweethearts
were presented with a two-day tour to the Smolensk region as a gift from the
National Centre RUSSIA and the Smolensk Tourism Development Centre. Having
returned from the trip, Sergei and Anastasia shared their impressions of their
acquaintance with the Smolensk region.
"We
would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the National Centre RUSSIA and
Tourism Development Centre of the Smolensk region for organizing a trip to the
sights of Smolensk. Many thanks to Alena Arzhanaya for developing the tour
programme and close attention to details. Our stay was comfortable and cozy.
Special thanks to the guide, a wonderful man Alexei Tabunov. We had two
eventful sightseeing days and got a lot of invaluable information about one of
the oldest cities in Russia. We were greeted by amazing people who are in love
with the history of the city and passionate about their profession. Smolensk
won our hearts!", — Sergei and Anastasia shared.
The
newlyweds were given a sightseeing tour of the capital of the region. They saw
the iconic sights of Smolensk, visited the museum "Gromovaya Tower"
and the former Tenishev estate — now the historical and architectural complex
"Teremok" in the village of Flenovo, as well as the Petrov family's
production of raw vegetable oils.
Romance was
also involved: a special programme "French Art Date" was organized
for the newlyweds. Inspired by crispy croissants and a glass of sparkling wine,
they managed to draw a memorable picture with their own hands in one of the
most beautiful historical buildings in Smolensk.
