The Smolensk fortress wall will be the main object of the Smolensk region’s exposition at the International RUSSIA EXPO.

The time before the beginning of the exposition is getting shorter and shorter, the regions are actively building their stands in the 75th pavilion of the International RUSSIA EXPO. The Smolensk region is among them.

"We have started the construction of the region’s stand. The concept of our exposition is built around the key object — the Smolensk fortress wall. And its towers will be filled with activities for visitors. A large-scale construction is already being erected in the pavilion of the exposition", — said Vasily Anokhin, Governor of the Smolensk region.

The exposition of the region will present the life of the inhabitants of ancient settlements, traditional linen weaving, thanks to virtual technologies it will be possible to go into space together with Gagarin or to travel along glacial lakes.

The International RUSSIA EXPO will be held in Moscow at the VDNH from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. Each region of the Russian Federation will present its stand, where it will introduce visitors to the key achievements in various industries. Federal authorities, representatives of large corporations, public associations and foreign countries will also take part in the exposition.
