Watch "Soldiers' Dreams" on Tricolor’s Bolshoy Efir TV channel
One of the grandest productions by the National Centre
RUSSIA, featuring a star-studded cast, over 500 artists on a single stage,
unique lighting solutions, and wartime archive footage coming to life on giant
screens — the main premiere of the spring returns to screens. On Saturday, 16
May, at 18:50, the Bolshoy Efir (Big Air) TV channel by Tricolor will broadcast
the historical production "Soldiers' Dreams".
The production is timed to the 81st anniversary of Victory
in the Great Patriotic War. Through music, poetry, archival footage, and
wartime songs, the performance tells the story of the feat of the generation of
victors, of memory, courage, and the fortitude of the people who lived through
the war and gave the country a peaceful sky.
The production was created under the direction of Yevgeny
Glazov, People's Artist of Russia. The performance became an important part of
the Victory Day celebrations at the National Centre RUSSIA, bringing together
choir and dance groups, dramatic actors, popular performers, children's
ensembles, and a massive costumed crowd on one stage. It featured the Rosgvardia
Choir, the Pyatnitsky State Academic Russian Folk Choir, the Gzhel Dance
Theatre, People's Artists of Russia Lev Leshchenko, Ilya Reznik, Sergei
Shakurov, and Valeriya, Honoured Artists of Russia Varvara and Yelena Vaenga,
and young performers Klava Koka, Khabib, among many others.
The authentic photos and newsreels from 1941–1945, which
come alive on the big screens, create a special atmosphere in the performance.
Together with the characters, the audience travels the path from frontline
daily life to Victory Day, seeing the Reichstag, the road to Berlin, soldiers'
halts, and reunions with loved ones. A light curtain and multimedia decorations
help turn the stage into a space of dream-memories, where documentary footage
and stage action merge into a single story.
In addition to Tricolor’s Bolshoy Efir TV channel, the full
version of the "Soldiers' Dreams" production can be viewed on the
russia.ru website in the "Livestreams and Videos" section.
